Fun fact: the novel "Old Yeller" had a sequel, and Disney made a movie of that one too. It's called "Savage Sam", and features the son we never knew Yeller had.

Venom happened to release in October as well in the UK, so they likely combined it, It didn't last long due to some weird side effect from the Black colouring.

@aymimi and in NC, there was hilarious news reports of that black food coloring turning people's crap bright green, LOL. Didn't mix with the body well.

Wow, memory you just took me down memory lane. I had a girlfriend in 4th grade named Jenny. She brought me one of these turtle pies every day at lunch! They were the most delicious pie I have ever had. I still want those pis to return. Thanks for this video!!

The WWF Ice Cream bar we soooooooooooo damn good. I wasn’t even a fan at the time the 1st came out and that’s what I got at the ice cream truck. The new ones are not the same.

I don't know. I loved the Turtle Pies, but I've recently tried the "Better Recipe" Hostess Apple Pies. They were absolutely terrible, and I'm not sure if Hostess could get the Turtle Pie taste right today.

@Trump4Prison2021 exactly. I literally just went to my local Walgreens and picked up a few which were literally $0.50 each. And yeah as much as I loved the turtles back then and the pie; as an adult now I see how much the turtles logo was only used to sell to kids. So yeah I was a stupid kid back then and I'll admit it.

I ate those turtle pies when I was a kid....I think they missed a marketing opportunity...Fill them with Rum, and call them Secret of the Booze.

And when they can't put it in the pies anymore, they can put it in ham, and switch to an "Always Sunny" tie-in.

I think the black burger actually looks pretty cool. They did a similar thing while promoting the recent Venom movie, using black buns with dyed white eyes and a big slice of bacon for the tongue. Pretty well designed haha

I was hooked on those Ninja turtle pies. It was like green crack!

I did eat several boxes of the Bill and Ted cereal. I also enjoyed WAY too many of the Ninja Turtle pies...But hay, at that time I was living on a very small budget and Ninja Turtle pies and Totino's pizza was my main diet. Good Stuff!

Glad the Old Yeller dog food made the list. I saw it at the store once and now I have proof that it wasn't just some demented fever dream when I tell people about it.

I have the complete set of Addams Family cereal flashlights that came out with the 90's movie. It was also made by the Ralston Purina company. The flashlights are cheap, but they are great little figurines to put on display. You don't find cool stuff like that in cereals anymore.

Laura I appreciate your videos. I find them calming in these crazy times. You, Dante and Muffin are the cutest.

That's the Bushwackers !! You should have seen them wrestle, they didn't just lick each other, they licked their sweaty opponents during the match ! They were damn fine athletes though, and held the tag team belt for a very long time. Oiy !!

I remember my mom freaking out and slapping the Turtle Pie from my hands because she thought it was covered in mold, rather than connecting the food coloring is associated with the Ninja Turtles. She thought it was just a regular fruit pie with a sticker inside, lol. Great memory as a kid.

I don't know about Canada but here in the UK, they stopped having 'Free Inside' stuff within the cereal boxes. As a child, my mum would quite happily leave me and my brother at the cereal aisle in Tesco's to pick and choose which cereal we wanted whilst she went around the store. It was one of our favorite things to do whilst she did all the 'boring' stuff (ie. the essentials!) There was so much of an array of 'Free Inside' stuff on display that sometimes mother would have finished before we had even settled on something! My favourite offer were the Doctor Who collector's cards and game backs that came inside Weetabix during 1977. I was 6 at the time and treasured them so much that I still have them to this day. Took a while to get'em all. And to this day, I still feel guilty for putting two Weetabix bricks in the bin just so we could get through a pack quicker. I remember being a kid when the Yu-Gi-Oh cereal came out. The cereal was small triangle pieces meant to resemble the Yugi's Millennium Puzzle but they called it a medallion on the box. I remember that mistake made me and my friends pretty confused and upset. Didn't stop me from eating several boxes of that stuff though lol

I use to get the WWF ice cream bars from the ice cream man my senior year of HS. I wish I still had all the cut outs from the packaging. He knew I was collecting them and use to sit outside my house for like 10 mins. Use to piss my mother off so much. Haha. The new bars lacking the chocolate shell just isn't the same.

Aside from being a Laura Legends video, i clicked because I saw the WWF ice cream bar. The chocolate was the best part and I'm disappointed that the new ones today don't have it.
