Those fairy circles seem to follow the pattern of underground fungus. Perhaps when the fungus dies, the flowers feed off of the dead fungus as fertilizer,

bloodandwinearered I think it's actually the opposite: The fungus "conditions" the soil before the fruiting bodies show up. This also allows other plants to grow nicely. Some fungi might then kill off the other plants later and that's why the circles are empty.

MineriS LTU or what if......the aliens were from the future like you say but they were from a timeline where we all became faries and then died cause we lost the ability to contain our nipples and thus we could no longer use mass transit and died off from starvation, so the aliens came back to help us by killing the first fairies that came about so they couldn't mate and create more fairies, but the time machine malfunctioned due to fairy ....sperm.....cause its magic I geuss or something....and then they appear in our time as ghosts and the lights are actually alien temporal forcefields that hold the fairy ghost things in so they don't reform.

In Irish folklore, the Sí (fairies) use fairy circles as dancing rings at night. If you see one you should never step in it or you'll become trapped in the fairy dance forever. We also have fairy forts, which are raised mounds of earth where grass and plants grow thicker and darker than the surrounding areas. Animals avoid them and it's bad luck to enter one. If you have to you're supposed to leave a gift for the fairies to thank them for allowing you safe passage across their lands. There's also fairy trees, which grow out on their own far away from anything else. These are where fairies live in this world and it's believed that the King of the fairies travels from tree to tree across the country

I think Spontaneous combustion is a limited chemical reaction. That would account for an ignition with limited heat eminations. I used to think it was a nuclear reaction, but I haven't heard of any radiation being detected at those sites. It is interesting to note, that in all but a few cases the victems feet remain intact and unaffected. Also that yes, most victims had smoked an hour prior to the ignition. There has only been one survivor of combustion, whom put himself out . I frequently joke that it is one of the hidden side effects of those drugs they sell on T.V.: "do not take if you also take nitrates for chest pain, as this may cause an unsafe drop in blood pressure. Do not take if you are nursing, pregnant, or trying to become pregnant. In some rare cases, this drug has been known to cause fever, nausea, cessation of all bodily functions, irregular electromagnetic activity, spontaneous combustion, and even global annihilation. Please ask your doctor if this is right for you." LOL

+James L Both you guys look it up. It's called the Wicking-effect. it has been duplicated with pig cadavers to perfection. It's no longer a mystery. It's been solved and completely understood. The Human Fat acts like Wax and the clothing acts like a wick. That is why extremities like the feet and hands with little fat and no cloth covering don't burn. Only the surface of he victim burns as the clothing draws the wax/fat up to the surface, thus preventing the surrounding area, or even the bed the person is laying in from catching fire. This explanation is years old at this point. Look it up.

Some ppl who "go missing" must have been the victim of this event; witnesses have seen ppl burst into flames outdoors and burn to nothing (like a nuclear reaction) but thought they were misunderstanding what they saw, and on and on.

The thing I find really sad about this video is that most of these "mysteries" have, in fact been explained. The truth is, there are a great many REAL scientific mysteries that are a lot more interesting, such as, where is most of the gravity making stuff in the universe? Why is the universe expanding faster and faster? This is really really weird. Imagine a batter hits a pop fly ball it goes up and up and up, slowing down as it gets higher and higher, exactly as anyone would expect, then just before it stops going up it suddenly starts going faster again, pretty soon it's going really fast UP.. There are so many really interesting things you can explore about the world without resorting to paranormal nonsense.

Eric Taylor I'd be interested to know which one's amongst these have been explained correctly. Not just people's opinions. There have been no adequate explanations for SHC,. Nor for the Marfa, the Hessdalen and many other curious lights, even with significant study. The earthquake lights, red sprites and blue jets are only relatively recently described and although there's some interesting ideas about them, nobody again, has adequately explain what they are. There's lots and lots of anomolous and curious "mysteries" in this world and yes, I agree we do need to look at all of them but hey, maybe he chose these one's because they're easy to follow up on. The universe expansion is a fascinating one, just as the movement of one small area that seems to be pulling to one particular position. Some have theorised it's a parallel universe/another dimension causing this effect. Clearly you love this stuff as much as I do.

Eric Taylor Fair question Eric but no, that's not the point. It is an explanation or theory that has been born of rigorous study, within the rules of the scientific method. I'm always open to having my mind changed but someone's opinion, whilst interesting, is not proof of anything.

***** It's not like a compound bow at all. Because past the point where it gets easy, because you still need to put energy into the system (pulling) to maintain the point of the pull. If you let go the bow returns to it's lower energy state. It's more like a small ball in the bottom of an inverted Champlain bottle. The ball will sit in the bottom of the concave surface until you push it to the edge. You need to put more and more energy into the ball to get it higher and higher until it reaches the top of the bowl, then it falls out and goes to the floor.

Um, the fairy circles actually have been explained scientifically. The circles are consistent with the presence of symbiotic fungus that allows the grass's root system to absorb a few specific nutrients and once some of the nutrients that only the fungus needs is completely consumed, the lack of fungus will make it hard or near impossible for grass to continue to grow there... Also the perfect circles are how the mycelium of almost all fungi grow...

The meteor in Russia exploded in before it reached the ground. That's why no crater was found on that area.Based on physics, the explosion was so powerful because it happened in mid air. The initial shockwave that will hit the ground will bounce off and create an another shockwave making it deadly. The nuclear bombs are actually exploded before it will reach the ground to be more effective in destruction. If you don't believe me try searching in some videos of shockwaves in youtube and articles in google.

The windows were clouded to the point you couldnt see inside and the whole place illuminated a dim blue while the surrounding areas were pitch black. We got the heck out of there before it became a murder scene or something. XD

I don't recall all the particulars but I think the ice meteor was very large and very dense and that's why it made it through the atmosphere. Perhaps if it had been smaller, nothing would happened at all I'll look for thr hypothesis and post a link here. I mean it's just this very credentialed guy's scientific answer to thr mystery and it made a lot of sense when I heard it but I've an open mind.

The tunguska event was explained as a meteor that came in at a very specific angle and then exploded in the air. Testing has confirmed the angle and height of the detonation. The shape of the fallen trees is that of a butterfly with a small circle of trees in the center that are still standing, the tests do this exact same thing.

Rather than using the word "theory," it is scientifically more accurate to say "hypothesis" for something not proven to be truth. Gravity is a theory, while different possible explanations for bird migrations are hypotheses. This helps the public understand the difference between the two, and since this is about science, I think it's appropriate. :)

We humans like to believe that we understand how the universe works and because of how advance our technologies is today, we like to think that everything in this world can be scientifically explain. But the truth is, we humans are just barely scratching the surface. There are millions of things in this universe that we humans do not and will never understand. How is ghost be explain scientifically? What really created the universe. It's mind boggling to think of all the things that humans will never come to full understanding. The universe is an amazing place and full of mysteries.

I had a boyfriend who was 100% convinced that the spontaneous combustion was caused by heath death rays/guns/device. He said it was either a completely functional weapon or trials of early versions of the gun. I think he actually quoted the star trek history line of their guns as an attempt to sound more "convincing". He even said might even be specific targets preventing them from doing something so important it required to litterally oblitarate them in seconds leaving no possible way of retrieving them at all. That was spooky. But i kinda always bought a little into it. Somehow it made sense considering how crazy the situation is, or at least is a far better explanation than just being a random tragic medical condition. I think.

I found this entertaining. As for fairy circles, I've sen them in a regularly mowed lawn. They were actually blue/green in color. Analysis proved they were a variety of mold or fungus, that faded under intense sunlight. A landscaper I spoke to claimed they were natural burps from the ground releasing specific gasses that encouraged a rapid mold growth. I can see where wind blown seeds could get caught in the mold and propigate using it as a food source.

A note about spontaneous combustion: Nobody has ever witnessed a person spontaneously bursting into flames. As is described in the video, what is seen is the odd aftermath of a body that appears burned, but the surrounding objects are not burned. Excluding explanations about it actually being a flesh-eating disease that merely looks like burn marks, there's a much simpler and saner explanation than all those mentioned: The person was burned elsewhere, and then the body was moved. And then the police got too lazy to investigate this, so they had the coroner announce it as being "spontaneous" (How could a coroner even "rule" that? A coroner can only announce a cause of death, such as burning, and can't say if it was spontaneous or not).

The scientist found out it was admitting no heat, yet there was a clear indication of lights, but still no source. The lights seem to be floating a few inches off the ground. One camera sees the light, the other sees nothing where the light should be. More questions, then answers.
