Hi Jackie I'm a newbie to creating things with sea glass. I have always collected things from the beach since I was small and also introduced my children and grandchildren to the joy of beach collecting mostly shells and pebble as we live in the beautiful island of Jersey. You make this look so easy! I haven’t tried doing a mosaic yet…a little apprehensive about it but this one looks fairly straightforward. Thank you for posting this!

I just did this one and I have SO much more respect for you now! It sure is a lot of work! It took me over an hour just to clean up “the messy bits!” All of the glass I use is from the beach on our property. It is my very first try so I hope I can get better at it. I used all of your steps. Thank you so much for all of your help!

Lovely little artwork. I’ve never really had success with suction cups. They always fall off at some point. I think I would glue the suction cup to the window glass too 😁

Great idea! You could use the silicone and then if you wanted to take it off at some point, a glass scraper would take it off no problem.

Why not just pour clear resin over the design no need to glue down with silicone

You can also pour a 50/50 mix of water and mod podge over the glass. Dries clear and super hard. Inexpensive, and low voc. Sometimes can take a long time to dry.
