Sea Glass Art by Jackie

Sea Glass Art by Jackie

I love to create mosaic art with my sea glass. It is my goal to see more people enjoying this extremely relaxing art form. My videos show my work, as well as many "how to" instructions in the hopes of inspiring sea glass lovers everywhere to create beautiful works of art with their sea glass.

I live in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada and spend as much time as possible at our cottage in Prince Edward Island where I grew up. Most of my extensive sea glass collection comes from beaches along the western shore of PEI.

I have written a book about Sea Glass Mosaic art which provides a "how to" in the hopes that more people will get involved in creating sea glass mosaics.

Check out my book - you can find it on my website and on Amazon:

I think it is sad that people do not want the world to see their art but instead ask not to have video or photos ?? I love your art an no one can duplicate sea glass art no matter how hard they try. Sea glass art and jewelry is always One of a kind, I'm very confused but that is normal for me. Your table looks fab and I hope you sell a lot of books and art this week.

thank you for explaining why you don't like the pieces touching, its not a rule, so i will still make my sea glass art the way i do, since i combine it with dried flowers or seashells, it can be hard for it all to look mosiac together. my boyfriend says he prefers spacing inbetween when i showed him my first piece i did. i like both. he didn't use the word mosiac so i didn't understand and felt there shouldn't be spacing...but the your mind's eye, it can give a mosiac look if you leave spaces. cool! Also the first piece I did with clear gorilla glue as i did this on a whim, it's all i had at home! thanks for recommending the other product instead of glue. i will pick some up. i also picked up a lighthouse seaglass resign piece recently but didn't like how warped the "glass canvas" made of resin looked. so thanks for this video, time to go to more art!

I'm very new to this and just did some rock pours two weeks ago with beach themed colors! I poured it very flat in one broad line, with the cup touching the rock. The colors mixed beautifully and lots of cells opened. I should try to pour in stripes like that next, it looks like gems!

I just wanted to tell you I'm so happy to find out how you use Kwik set adhesive caulk. To glue glass on glass! I've tried so many glues that didn't work. And your tips about letting it set long enough to set good. I made a picture and gave it to my daughter for her birthday yesterday. Thanks for the tips!!!! Never knew this adhesive could be so versatile!!!!!

I have been thinking on what I might try to suggest for you in this piece of your seaglass mosaic. It is perfect as it is, but you did ask. The sage green paint on the window frame, I wish it was a brighter color. The long strip of brown, is a lot of brown, maybe if it were broken up with just a little bit of green (trees or shrubs) in a couple spots. But honestly, I am a bit sorry to even try to find anything that could be different. It is art and a glorious creation. I watch and look forward to ALL your vids. They are SO inspirational. I finished a turtle mosaic recently and working on the layout of my biggest piece yet. We are so limited with colors (which is also the beauty of it) if we use the glass as we find it. I am wondering if another trip is needed to places where the glass is more abundant. But first, I am gonna use what I have -- what else is to be done with it? The glass should be used. hehehe. Jackie, Thanks for all! I love your works and all your videos. You are an angel.
