Awesome information... I have a 2005 e320 CDI, leaking trunk.. watched that vid it was wonderful.. My question is what years and models will fit my car i.e body parts, anything but engine of course?? The reason i ask is here in KY there is not an abundance of junk yards with mercedes.. One more Q I did manage to retrieve a set of back doors i need to replace them (airbag blew DSR) are there any unforeseen problems like blowing another air bag? or anything? Thank you Kindly!!

Oem Mercedes. But I think they we made by Thule. I am planning to sell them as soon as I make new keys for it. The previous owner lost it

It's an open differential, so there's no mechanical slip occurring. Any difference in speed from one tire being larger by an 1/8inch would be similar to the car turning at a slight angle.

I need help. I have a W211 2006 (Facelift). The car had contact (wrench fell on battery in the boot while driving) it blew main fuse the one connected to alternator. I fixed that and car is now working but dashboard functions (aircon, radio, Rear auto viser, rear headrests are not working. Fuses are fine. Recently changed fuse on radio and its now working but i dont know how to fix the other stuff that isnt working.

You probably blew your radio, which is also a computer that controls a lot of stuff. Probably your lower control module too, that is the cd player

@@dcfgarage i changed the behind the radio and now the radio is working and the CD changer too is working but the rest of the other functions that is The rear windscreen viser, the rear headrest, the airconditioner isnt working

Normally that happens when there is something wrong with the fiber optic connection. Did you remove the radio recently?

You can use the physical key from the key fob to stick it in the key slot under the trunk trim that’s right over the license plate. If that doesn’t work, the fob button and the trunk button on the driver door doesn’t work then your only choice is to pull out the back seat

why didnt you leave the second visors? they would fit with the new one

@@davidnjenga9440 yep, iam gonna get some black silicone and dissemble mine tomorrow.. i can already see rust spots 🥺.. hey another problem I've had with both cars are the ABS magnetic rings on the wheel hubs.. what a nightmare! Still love these cars though, even though they suck your wallet dry..🤣

@@RussyRussRussy I replaced the rubber seals and it didn't help . I think the water is getting through small gaps between the panels or rear wind shield. My only other problem is the steering fluid pump.

@@davidnjenga9440 ha i got a leaky steering pump too.. i took my rear lights out today and cleaned them up and used a hairdryer to dry them out properly, then used black silicone to seal the foam pad to the car and light so hopefully now no more leaks

That`s the wrong Hole to the dipstick, that Hole is for the transmission Oil

No, it's oil. The W211 has a encased transmission. It's gotta be serviced. There is no dip stick. I've got a E350 W211.

@@butterybuttcheeks that’s the part where I know you’re young. We, old farts, are not willing to risk losing the engine over 1% possibility. We prefer 100% certainty because the impact on the unlikely event of the reading being wrong is catastrophic.

I am sorry , but I think this oil dip stick is for your automatic gear box, not for your engine oil.
