Rome is an amazing city and I have been very lucky to have visited there 5 times, The food in the city is amazing although I think Naples has the best food in Italy. I've tried some of the dishes in the video but the gelatos are out of this world.

Have I missed the aubergine pizza? Ali! I an crying that you are in Rome, showing amazing foods as I was contemplating cheese on toast for my tea! Not now. I am making plans in my head to hit that kitchen & make the likes of Masterchef contestants feel like sandwich makers. Amazing vlog Ali - more to come, which is a joy! Also!! When you go to Germany I hope you do not settle for a floppy halal boiled chicken sausage. There are Halal gourmet sausages, lamb, chicken, beef - those cooked on a grill. Germany has a massive Turkish community so a good shish must be amazing as would be Halal würst! With the Cacio Pepe, was the pasta bucatini? Happy eats & Happy travels. I'm very jealous.

For those worried about cross contamination with non halal meats you have to be careful in mainland europe, same with tiramisus as alot contain alcohol. (Just generally speaking). Good to see some international content. Tiramisu looks banging

Hey! The second Rome video drops Friday!

Hey guys went to visit Rome and this cafe which was brilliant. However watch out because the 'Cannoli' suggested in this video at roscioli caffè had animal fat init (pig fat) which is not halal. I just thought to mention this in case anyone else tries it, I found out the second day when I went back to the cafe the lady told me when I wanted to get some more. So anything you try in roscioli caffè just make sure it's halal by asking does it contain alcohol or animal fat.

Hi! Great video. I'll be in Rome for my birthday in June and I'm a huge foodie so the research is underway lol. This might sound like a silly question but do the other flavours of Tiramisu also contain coffee? I actually love Tiramisu and want to go to Pompi and taste everything! I just can't have caffeine 😭 I really like coffee too so I'm already learning how to order decaff although from what I've seen so far it isn't very common in Italy across the board? Thanks!

These are some average to good (Bonci and Roscioli) places, but apart from cacio e pepe and suppli, you hardly had any of the classics. Also, don’t go to the Bonci pizzarium unless you like to queue, go to the panicifio (less options, but still a reasonable amount and almost never a queue)
