Gosh I can't believe the club let people have these gems for this price. You have a bag of wonderful projects ahead of you for sure.

sometimes it just stuff they need to get rid of
A helium car belongs on every layout - even if it isn't prototypical. Great Haul!
Golden Age of collecting is now🙋🚂🇨🇦🇺🇲
with the plastic letters you could write ''Panaderia la Espiga.''
Score! I think the camelback could likely be Tenshodo or Akane, especially if it dates to the 50s.
All that stuff for $9.00?! If i bought that same amount of stuff i would have paid $50.00 or more! Here in NY They rip you off! Your very lucky, I wish i can get a haul like what you got for that price, That's a nice haul.
I dig Bachman coal cars and flat cars
The Athearn pickle car with the wires on the sides was just how it came originally. Great bag of finds. Looking forward to what projects come from it!
Some very excellent items thanks
I've got a gondola with the same load, but mine was a plaster casting that I painted. I did every bit as good a job as the "Chooch" load. The fun part was painting the '32 Ford. Cheers from eastern TN
8:44. Very good model in my opinion. I like Cowl & Cab unit locomotives.
Nice Haul👍👍.
The Lindburgh tooling is what Mantua was using in the 80s for freight cars. The Tru-scale blacksmith car ended up at Bachmann. GE Capital finances locomotives to this day.
I had that container crane in a tyco train set.The Silver Streck a alco locomotive with a stream lined caboose.A lot of play value.

It's a really fun accessory! I want to set it up, paint & weather it to look realistic and have fun with it.
I was at a show like that once and there was boxes and boxes of parts like that . Great stuff you have .

I have 3 True Scale MOW Maintenance of Way cars, 1 Kitchen, 1 Maintenance freight car and 1 working Caboose. They all have sprung trucks with metal wheels. Got them for Christmas this year. Cheers from eastern TN

They're so fun, aren't they? Always good to run vintage equipment.
Awesome! I did the same thing, but when I purchased, the bags were $25 lol. Still a screaming deal! I got a couple of those first aid kits, and you were correct on that hunch, one was full of all kinds of little brass parts

@@InterurbanEraI got this really interesting Amtrak P42 on a plaque thanking someone named ‘David P Graybeal’ and GE for over $300 million toward new engines. I got an entire B&O passenger train + locomotive, and someone’s interesting half completed projects. There was a Rivarossi Krauss Maffei shell painted (poorly) into warbonnet colors which was too weird not to grab. Found lots of other cool miscellaneous stuff as well
Super. Don't demolish anything though, give it away to the next guy. 💙 T.E.N.

So far I've passed along everything I didn't immediately need to newer modelers who wanted the stuff. The only thing that didn't survive was the UP gondola. It shattered when I tried to remove the load. I stripped that of all usable parts including the underframe, trucks, couplers though, so it wasn't a total loss!

Very interesting collection of items for quite the reasonable price I'm from Australia so I'm not the most knowledgeable on US model railway items but I have considered buying some unbuilt Athern Pullman coaches to make them look like those from the Polar Express as I've been building an old Hobbyline Berkshire kit I found for a bargain with the intention of making it into PM 1225. Only downside is a single coach is nearly 100 bucks shipping included, so my plans for such will be on hold for a while it seems.. Regardless this was a very cool video to be recommended

Weirdly, the Lionel HO polar Express trainset is "screen accurate" including the unorthodox round end observation car. I bet you could score one of those sets affordably and that'd save you lots of effort!
a vid on building a alta mow train would be cool
Aristro crafts had a builders plate on the locomotive
Cool stuff! Maybe it would be cool to see videos of what you make with them.

That's the next step! I've already stripped the paint off the caboose & F45, so you'll definitely be seeing them in future layout videos. Stick around, subscribe, and watch these models come to life!
What's the design reason for blind-end cabooses?
