For whoever reads this comment: Heed Ryan’s words. He’s younger than me and has wisdom behind his years. DO NOT allow yourself to ever get a deprivation-negative mindset. I had one for over a decade - long story. God brought me out of it one day - January 9th 2021 as if as if a switch was turned on. I had been in the pits for over 12 years. I realized in an instant that my mindset was a poverty mindset not an abundance mindset. Last month I opened a satellite office of my firm, Studio 16 Architecture in Asbury Park, NJ. Much of the work that will take care of you is sheer drudgery yet, if you approach it in the way that Ryan states, it will make a huge difference. Stay faithful, stay strong and work hard.

I get up at 5am every morning to meditate, read and get to the gym before work every single day. This morning I read a quote in your book and it goes something like... Forcing yourself to keep going and speed into the curve.. you’re a BOSS when you can do that instinctively.

I am a 15 year old high school student in new york and dream of being a successful real estate agent one day. I am curious on what I can do to set my self up in the best position, so once I turn 18 and get my license, I can grow my brand as soon as possible. I was considering in about a year trying to intern for big real estate names in new york who my parents know very well. What is your opinion on how teenagers can grow an in-depth understanding of real estate and how to succeed in such a competitive market at a young age.

You know Ryan, just watched your amazing video that so pertains to what I'm about to do in my life. I'm 47 yrs old. Live in Clearwater Florida recently broke up with my gf. I work at Hilton Clearwater Beach Hotel for come August 5 months. Love my job but feel like i should be doing more. I'm tired of living paycheck to paycheck. Its time for me to find what makes me happy gives me stability more financial freedom. Been visiting my home town for past few days leaving Friday to go back to work and my New reality. I know in my head that in order to succeed in life one must fail and learn from their mistakes. But my fear is the polar opposite. I actually Fear and have for so long Fear Success in my life whether through work relationships or personal growth within myself. Your videos have opened my eyes and heart to so many things. I just wanted to say thank you. I don't know if real estate is my thing or not but I'm still going to buy your latest book. I admire you for everything you've done and accomplished love your KZread videos.

I generally never comment but this is different. Your advice was most importantly “relatable” because you didn’t come from $ or a family name. You did what you could that as you said what you have control over. Be consistent, patient and overcome your fears. Truly Pilar’s for getting ahead and improving yourself… And while you’ve had an amazing amount of success I’d say for those who do follow your advice even if your not where you want to be yet realize that you need to appreciate and value your hard work and know when you put your head on your pillow at night. You’ve done what you could for that day which is more than most. Appreciating the journey and knowing you are doing the right things to make a difference is so important. Thanks for sharing!!

I’m a highly motivated Exec Chef with a 30 year amazing career. I now find myself diving into this new amazing journey of learning a completely different approach to release in my goal to continue to grow and learn through yet another experience in my life. I grew up very poor with parents that did there best but I vowed when I was young that I would never struggle like they did. I grew from a cook to working for Michael Jordan as just one of the high lights in my amazing journey. I now find myself ready to dive into a completely new place merely because I’ve seen all in my current field and now want to master another craft. My energy with my team is what brought me amazing experiences and success and I hope my non stop drive to get the work done while giving others the drive to enjoy the ride with me lend to my success as a real estate agent. Can you write a book or do a video series on your first 50/100 deals, describing each deal in detail? I recall you saying once that you know every single address you've sold. You mentioned that you showed up doing work everyday for 3-4 years until MDLNY. I think it would inspire a lot of agents to see in detail how you grew you business. The high level principles you teach and share in your VLOGS as a result of all your experience are all amazing, but can be hard to grasp for newer agents that still need to work on their mindset, work ethic, habits etc. or agents that have plateaued and can't envision growing their business from 15 deals to 50 deals a year. Love your content!

During the interview, I referenced your advice to focus on taking control of your own work and drown out factors you can't control (of course I credited you). The managing broker thought that was a great way to think. The interview went so well she was speaking to me as though I already work there by the time I left.

Funny, the guy works out everyday before the office. I was Gray at 40, genetics like my Dad before me at 25. His point is giving yourself MORE time so your stress levels are down. Focus doesn’t make you older, it keeps you wiser. It’s so much better when you are that far ahead of your competition EVERY day. You build up so much time equity it allows you to branch out because you have things under control. You get so far ahead that you actually don’t have to stop to catch your breath because you never lost it! Try it.

Is the glorification of quitting your job and going on all-in really the best thing? Back up against the wall, burn your boats, etc.... what about keeping a FT job and doing your side hustle nights & weekends? Is that a bad idea? Am I decreasing my potential upside by doing this?

I would, for me, and I'm at that point, again, looking for sure to earn my own worth, but being smart about, even when you can't STAND your job, maybe start part time, but work the business and take it seriously and DO IT! When the, as they say, the income is coming in more and more and you earn more than the "job" or potentially even, then start thinking about exiting that "job". :))

People are different, situations are different, lives are different. So to say whats best is hard. The best thing about going all-in is, that you need to make it work. You can't go easy because than you've got no money for food or rent etc. Some people need that kind of motivation to make it work. If you've got discipline to work 5-6 days a week an additional 4-5 or more hours and you've got sth. to do in that time, yes it can work to do it on your side. Be honest to your self and look whats working for you. In my opinion it's all about action and reaction. Look what you're doing and the results of it. If you're not happy with the results, change what you're doing. If you want a certain result, you have to do certain actions to get them. I hope it helps.

Hi Ryan. Great video by the way. I have a question which I struggle with on a consistent basis - self doubt. The negative always, always takes the higher ground. How have you dealt with periods of doubt and what advice would you offer. Love your work. Look forward to hearing from you😊🙏

Ryan, you said you wake up at 430am, what time do you go to bed? Also, I am a musician, but I work a night job to support myself. I put my all into my job because of my work ethic, but I have little time, energy and motivation left for my music. Any advice for balancing time and adding in some “me time” as well?
