You're very welcome! So glad it was helpful.
This was very helpful and learned some new things. Funny how you can see a page with options but don’t really see it. I had to interrupt your video to go to my procreate when you showed the auto repeat in brushes to create a texture. There it was, in plain sight. The clone tool was very interesting too. Never knew that you could lock it. Thank you so much!

So glad it was helpful! I find it useful to just play around in Procreate without drawing just to discover new ways to use it.

Thank you!! Omg the clone tool 🤩
Ever since I found you on Skillshare and took your class about half drops in Photoshop I’ve learned so much from you - you always seem to have the most hidden and helpful tricks. I’ve recently started drawing with real pencils again and it was always quite a hassle for me to colour the scans in Procreate. I used blending modes, tried the automatic selection - but your trick is not just super simple and quick, it also retains the paper texture and allows for quick colour changes of the linework. So thank you so much for this video!!

@@MelArmstrong You‘re welcome!☺️Forgot to mention how I also love the little ‚switch between brush and eraser‘ trick!
Such a valuable set of hacks!! Thank you for your generosity, Mel!

You are so welcome!
I actually turned off the toggle between the brush and eraser and I found that it would random toggle to the eraser. Obviously I was tapping without realising it.
Mel, the function to remove linework, so does it just keep the fill and its white when the linework is mask?

It basically just makes the background transparent, so you can then colour the background without affecting the linework. Hope that makes sense?
