Owners of businesses don't necessarily have time to do the work, that's why they hire employees to do it, while they manage the business. If he's working on a car, that means he's not looking for and going out buying cars, going to suppliers getting the parts needed to do the build, dealing with other business partners and also seeking how to sell the cars they buy and fix up, etc. Do you think the CEO of any car mfg works on the cars they sell? NOPE. Do they even design the cars they sell? VERY rarely.. only a few might have spare time to get involved.. Only a few shop owners get intimately involved with the turning of wrenches.. He actually gets involved more than some owners, but he certainly doesn't have to turn wrenches as a day to day job..

Richard is just one of those guys who needs to be on TV so I'm happy y'all developed this channel. The "Lettin' Thomas Down" is epic and so much fun. What a huge, 4 door POS that thing is but it's so cool too. LOL. Get you some of that!

If you watch the joe Rogan podcast the episode where he interviews Richard rawlings Richard explains how the disco channel had many restrictions on what Richard can do and not do then I believe he said they started to have scripts for each episode which of course watered down the show that we all enjoyed and loved but I believe Richard said that he was offered to do another season because his contract with the Discovery Channel was up and he decided to choose to be a free agent because he didn't want to deal with the bullshit of not being able to have social media and basically he didn't want to deal with the show being fake because it's scripted I miss fast and loud so much but I prefer to see Richard enjoy himself doing these videos that he's doing now and be able to be creative without having someone telling him what to do and how to do it

Y'all should do some sort of quick crazy build every week. You'd get a lot more followers for sure. Doing crazy things brought back some memories from when me and my brothers were teenagers. My mom didn't know anything about cars, and in 1986 she had a 69 2-door Swinger Dart with a rough running 6-cylinder in it, and our neighbor lady had 1977 Dodge Brougham station wagon with a 400 big block in it that she had had since it was new, and one day she got T-boned by a truck, and long story short, she sold us her totaled car for $75 because we told our mom it had like a new engine in it that only had 3900 miles on it and it would go right in her Dart. lol. It did not go right in! lol. It was a bit of a pain but us 3 teenage boys got that 400 big-block into Mom's little Dart, and when she first took off in it she lit the tires up because she was used to that warn-out powerless 6-cylinder. lol. we put some different shackles on the rear to lift it up a bit to fit a little more tire under it, and needless to say, it scared her a little bit but once she drove it a few times and learned she didn't have to give it much gas to take off she loved it. lol. It didn't take long before a lot of guys around town were trying to buy it because mom outran them with it. lol. That was the good old days.

Hell yes love the exhaust placement. So dope. I did this to a vw jetta once. Made it a pickup truck. Welded the back doors shut. Slot of bracing. Exhaust right out the front fender. Thing was awesome ahahsh
