Thanks for the Teckin hack. It’s a great idea! I never thought of it but it would simplify my feeding routine and help me to stop forgetting the return pump off for extra time. Also it can turn off the chiller while the return pump is off so that it’s not running without water flow. Thank you!

Thanks Alex, new to the "party" and lacking experience too! My hack is to have an additional OFF time on a timer e.g. 10:28 OFF, 10:30 ON and 22:30 OFF when setting up a cheap Smart Plug. Equipment e.g. my aquarium lights have their own control e.g. ON, OFF or BLUE only. By first switching OFF the power, this resets the device. Otherwise manually turning the device OFF, turns off the LEDs but there is still power, so at 10:30 the switch ON has no effect. The reset at 10:28 solves this problem. My timers were from Amazon and cost £7 each in two and and I have them on both sets of (my first) LED lights. Simon (subscribed).

Nice work Alex. Your tank is looking very smart 🤓 just like your t-shirt! Plastic pipe and fittings for manifold, look for a pond supplier in Dorchester. Cheap compared to the online stores buy over 3/4 on somethings. Tell em I recommend them and you might even get discount! Mark talk to in dah shop ! Mmm like your frag tank. One day Alex ill buy em! Covid19 as put me back adding water to my set up! Thats my excuse 😆 Keep the videos coming please!

Hey Alex! I have been meaning to leave a comment about your anthias coloration. Have you tried feeding any food with paracoccus powder (astaxanthin powder)? It helps with red and pink coloration in fish. I have noticed a big difference in my flame angels color compared to feeding mysis only.

Like your videos but man do something different please or I’m going unsubscribe just getting boring.

I do try to mix my videos up, but you're right - there's been a few lists lately. Ultimately the content is always the same, it's just the format that changes from time to time. I personally really like lists as a format so they'll always be a big part of the channel and I try to do them differently to the way most people do list videos. So if I only have 9 hacks, I'll call it 9 rather than shoe-horning in another to make it an eve 10. And I always try to make the video clips as engaging as possible. The next three videos i'm working on aren't lists so you've got at least a few weeks' break coming up 🙂 PS. Appreciate the feedback 👍
