Hello and welcome to our channel,
We are Reanne and Ben living in Portsmouth, England. We have been together from the age of 15.
We brought our first house together at 23, got married at 25 and Reanne started her own business at 27.
We have been wanting to travel the world for the last couple of year but covid put a stop to it.
The day has finally come we have sold our business and packed everything we own into storage, rented our house to explore as much of the world as we can in one year.

I traveled so many times Colombo to Jaffna by trained but I get off at koddikam railway way station . Because bus is waiting for us to take to point Pedro .
Enjoyed your video. .I have been to Sri Lanka a few times now but not sure whether to go at the moment .. You have made up my mind .... I am going! THANK YOU!

I hope you enjoyed Jaffna well..just watched your video from London. I left Jaffna in 1996 and left Sri Lanka in 2002. I've never been back again. Sadly I can't go back. Wish you good luck for your future journeys and thank you for visiting my home town.

That is a pretty big backpack to be fair I would hope people can see Ben coming haha. The train Journey looked pretty comfy even if it was too wobbly to sleep and at least you were headed in the right direction. I would choose an ice lolly over a beer too but I like how you can sniff out a liquor store haha. xx

There abit of a nightmare to be honest I definitely think we’ll down size at some point it’s so easy to get laundry done this side of the world there no need to take so much. But definitely beer over ice lollies haha

When you guys were going for the Fanta cream soda at the end , I was mentally willing you towards the Elephant brand cream soda right next to the EGB (Elephant ginger beer). Only because I I drank gallons of that stuff as a kid. And yes Lion Stout has won numerous International awards & compares well with Guiness.

Yes we read a lot about the history that why we wanted to visit Jaffna we noticed not many KZreadrs go up there so be a good experience
Try to travel to islands in jafna specifically delft island to see wild horses
Hi my friends, I hope you had a beautiful trip in Jaffna and hope you love the foods and accomodation. I'd love to speak in British English like you. I like the British accent as well and I studied English at British Council, Sri Lanka. I hope you will visit many more beautiful places in Sri Lanka and I suggest you to visit the wildlife parks in Sri Lanka such as Yala in Southern province and Wilpattu wildlife park is just close Jaffna city. You can visit the places like Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa cities where ancient kings of Sri Lanka stayed and ruled the country

Here in sri lanka there are 3 main supermarket brands. Cargills food city, Keells super and Arpico super center. You can find good indian food in jaffna. Enjoy your travels

I have been to Jaffna once. Yes Ben.. It has a different vibe like thamilnadu. When I went to Jaffna, I thought I was in India. When we go to Jaffna, it is difficult to communicate with the people there. Because many people in Jaffana can't speak Sinhala and we can't speak Tamil. When you come to Sri Lanka, you will have that experience every day...

This trainset was made in India specially for Sri Lanka. First Class seats can be rotated 180 degrees.

Not made specially. These trains are not suitable for railway tracks in Sri Lanka. The cunning politicians have bought these trains with a big bribe. I saw several railway accidents recently after these trains have been used. GOODBYE.
