Aw man 9bit hordes bringing back that Tides of Darkness goodness would be amazing.

I'm so beyond in for this. Also, EA still needs to back a thousand dump trucks full of money up to your studio to remaster the second gen CnC games.

@@ScarriorIII Beside the hope to create custom factions (imagine 8-bit Hordes, but also alongside the Human Lightbringers, an Elven empire and a dwarven kingdom against dark elves, orcs and Necromancers), they better have the option for custom fan-campaigns and cutscenes too. Imagine using VTuber Mocap software for a pixellated female military assistant to go "Welcome back, Commander. I hope you've enjoyed your promotion, because we're in a bit of a situation right now., Patching you into the president/premier/cult leader/field command now..." *insert hammy acting* Or a "8-bit Empires" feature, where you can upgrade your HQ and work through tech trees and balancing multiple resources for more upgraded buildings and features.

As a C&C fan, I can say for us all, what we want, is a AAA RTS game, made properly, like older c&c

I've been playing this awesome game with friends occasionally for years. Never expected to see new content! HYPE

What a welcomed surprise, but this can't be the game Earthbreakers was put on hold for, right? Been a solid fan of the 8-Bit armies series and I'll definitely be picking this up, but I'm also looking forward to what else you guys have in the pipeline, and I'm still holding out hope for those plans to inckude at least a TS and RA2 remaster!

Buildings need to garrisonable, and there needs to be tech buildings as well as capturable objectives. Will add more teeth to game. Right now all the buildings etc are just window dressing, need meaning or the whole map might as well be barren.

Definitely, is there any way to give feedback to the devs? I don't know why so many things from c&c are missing. Will units rank up? Can soldiers bunker down? Why no dogs or spies? I enjoyed 8 bit but there wasn't much strategy involved

Some real strategy at last

The big thing that prevented me from buying into 8 bit armies was a worry about it lacking the personality of the old C&C games, but with a severe lack of TibSun remastered, Earthbeakers/Renegade Remastered and Red Alert 2 remastered, I suppose I could give it a go

Please make a very good and challanging AI in Campaign, Coop and Skirmish.

That is definitely needed. One of my favourite things in red alert 2 was the mirage and prism tanks. Those when ranked up were amazing. 9 bit should really rip off red alert 2 as much as possible.

AMAZING. Finally someone who keeps continueing that beautiful games. I miss that RTS Games on console. I hope will be also on playstation to get platinum again. Love it

Exciting but I'm not gonna lie, hope it won't start off with just two factions like original, the 8-bit series really only begun to shiny when you could combine the games into more

True but the other factions were massively over powered in comparison. If you had the aliens then I dunno how you'd lose.

@Petroglyph Games: I have added Earthbreakers on 2019-11-14 to my wishlist on steam. Is there anything you tell use about it's progression? (BTW: I read the comment from back in 2021 in which you said that the project is on hold). Don't get me wrong, it's not like I doesn't like 8/9-bit armies, but I'm really looking forward to Earthbreakers for almost four years now 😅

I never thought they would make a sequel to 8-Bit Armies. Hopefully they'll do the same for 8-Bit Hordes and 8-Bit Invaders in the future.

It’s a shame that the potentially brilliant and actually really REALLY good Forged Battalion got dumped in a ditch. I’d love to see it given some love.

Why do you do this to us? All we want is Tiberian Sun/Red Alert 2 Remaster or Empire at War 2

Red Alert 2 remaster we deserved.

EA should hired them for one big gigantic CnC tiberium game with a campaign like sc2 (not the gamplay off course) and a multiplayer with three subfactions for each faction GDI, Scrin and Nod..Concluding with joe kucan himself and off course do the same thing with red alert like also. But unfortunately, they won't. They won't change and we know the malice inside of them... The executives and investors will just be greedy, heartless, soulless and full of malice.

Please please please put this on the Nintendo switch if you can, it's severely lacking in traditional RTS games, probably due to hardware limitations.

Remaster red alert 2 pls

Dies thisbgame will have a real campaign? As I remember the first title had skirmish battles as campaign, which really turned me off. I prefer handcrafted missions

I do hope it provides more than a 5 min game of rush & blob. 8-bit series grew boring extremely fast as it was only a rush imitation of better games.
