guys if you’re going you can order everything from any cart at any station , trust me just pay for all your items in the AM then keep that receipt to get the items with no lines throughout the day 🔥🔥🔥 For those who may have missed that short explanation

I’ve seen plenty of festival videos where I’m looking for the food, and 75% of the items purchased are alcoholic beverages. I always found that frustrating.

I'm so hungry, that mac and cheese looks really good! The cheese pizza wings don't even look like cheese pizza wings I expected. I expected like a chicken Parmesan type thing. Haha

I was at DCA on Wednesday. I only tried the pork belly but it was delicious. The macaroni salad that came with it was okay. But I'm not really a fan of cilantro.

Just found out I'm about to be a Californian (and Disneyland Local) for a while. Interesting feeling.

Great video. Lots of things I want to try. How does it work when you pre-order with the sip and savor? Like, how does it work when you want to actually get your food? Do you just go in the pickup line and they make it when they see your receipt? Or do you pre-book the pickup times?

Def should have rolled w/the Kiwi Apple Lemonade. Especially w/o any other drinks. Awesome vid tho!

I have tickets for the first night of Star Wars Nite. I’ve never been before, so I can’t speak to it. But it’s a very common question, which is why I’m going this year, so I’ll have an answer and first hand experience for the future.

Our fave is the carbonara Mac and cheese too!

It was definitely the best thing we ate. Absolutely nothing about it had any downsides. Where even the steak tips had just a little too much chimichurri.

I’m just curious. But do your sons have season passes? lol thanks for the new video. It’s a snowy day here in Lake Tahoe so I’m happy we have a video to watch ❤️

Yes, we all have passes. I have the Inspire for free parking and fewer blackouts when I come solo, and the rest of them have Believe Key. It’s a little more affordable and will allow them to visit this summer. Last year, they had Enchant, and couldn’t come for 2 months.

Now I'm officially HUNGRY! 😋

The pork belly and mac was a mad hit with me last year when I went.

The pork was just as tasty. Would have liked them not to change the Mac salad, but we still ate it. It’s not terrible.

Does the sip and savour pass have to be used on the same day or can it be redeemed over multiple day?

As long as you have tabs it’s good for the entire food and wine festival. March 1 to April 22. If you don’t use all your tabs on the first day, just bring the pass back during those dates and you can still use the pass. We didn’t use all of ours either. We’re gonna do a part 2 video soon check out our part 1 !

About the not wanting bones etc. ahaha. My gf who’s Chinese would say that you like easy meat

DFB Guide, All Ears, and The Frugal Brit all have tip/challenge related videos. For some vloggers, we haven’t watched them in awhile, but we used to love Paging Mr. Morrow and Super Enthused. We just haven’t watched a whole lot of WDW content in the last two years or so. So I’m not 100% sure how those channels have changed.

@@MrMalditos82 We’ll be headed to WDW in May, but we will just be having some dining reviews and day vlogs. Of course, I’m sure the vlogs will be packed with tips and things. But nothing so organized as most of my content. It’ll just be us doing our thing and filming it for your enjoyment. Since it’s our vacation, the day vlogs allow us to film it but not overwork/plan content.

I’m not sure. A quick search showed that DVC does NOT get discounts at WDW’s festivals. So I would assume ours is similar. Magic Key only, probably.

I had to right down what I thought looked good. The Pulled Pork, Mac, and cheese. Until you guys said too much, mayo. I'm not a mayo fan at all. Same with sour cream. I like Vegan nuggets. That looked good. The stroganoff, too. I love mushrooms. The Oilve oil cake. I'm with Amy on that. The title. The 2 churros that looked good were butterscotch banana. And the spiced shortbread.

I am curious about the Olive Oil cake. But we are limiting our sugar intake right now in preparation for our May vacation. We always do a spring “cleanse” to shed a few pounds so we can eat guilt-free at WDW.

They have many plant based items at Disney where they make no effort to explain the items are substitute. But they definitely are substitutes. I’ve tried a good chunk of the vegan/plant-based items.

Why is everyone recommending the sip & savor pass? Seems like a rip-off to me when the regular sized portions already cost $7-9. At best you’re saving a couple bucks, but you get less food.

There are no “regular size” portions at Food and Wine. Everything is the sampler size. Except at Paradise Garden Grill where they only serve a “regular size” for around $14 unless you have the Sip and Savor and then you get a smaller size. The average cost of an item that’s not a drink or snack is around $8.50. Times that by 8 and you get $68. The Sip and Savor costs $60 without a discount. So that saves you $8, or essentially gives you a free item. So you pay for 7, get 1 free. For passholders, ours cost $54. So we save $14. Which is a free item and some change.

They’re always that high. It’s nothing new. They might have gone up 50c since last year. Not significantly higher. This is the price of a Disney food festival.

To put it into perspective, for $56, my wife and I ate lunch, dinner, and had what amounts to 2 snacks throughout the day. That’s $28/person. Considering a meal at Disney is around $13-$15 and snacks are generally $5-$6, even taking the lowest options, that’s $26/person for two meals, totaling $52. And then add $10 more for snacks, it’s $62. So we did fine with the festival.
