It's really nice that you take the extra effort to put up a look to go with each pair of boots. I've been reluctant in starting my "boot game" as the ones I pick might not go with the things I currently have in my wardrobe. This helps a lot with that choice. Thanks, William!

I just ordered the Beckett Simonon Balmorals because of this video - thank you. I was really torn between them and the Thursday wingtips but you made a good case and I’m willing to wait. Actually, you’ve kind of given me a five year plan here:) Next purchase will be the Tecovas!

I've had the TBC Wingtip for a year and a half. The leather still smells so strong that people can smell it on a plane. It is so incredible comfortable and looks so good. One of the best purchases I've ever made.

Please do a video on jackets and shirt jackets you wear. There’s an orange/yellow shirt jacket you’ve worn a lot in videos that I’d love to know where you got it from. I was thinking Taylor Stitch but if so I don’t think they make it anymore. The chocolate suede jacket in the video you linked in this was is awesome too! Thanks so much for your videos.

Carmina Chelsea’s all day long, totally worth the premium cost. I have one pair in brown vegano and I’m going to get another in black for sure. Don’t skimp on Chelsea’s. I have a pair of the Elliott’s too, great choice! I also have the Beckett Siminon wingtip, I think they call it the Nolan' totally recommend that one' for $186 after the 20% discount it’s impossible to beat.

Im a Crockett and Jones guy but I order 4 boots of Beckett Simonon in January I received it in March I have to say they are not bad for an everyday wear quality is there and comfort is there but yes the wait is long but worth it.

Really enjoyed your review of RM Williams boots as l live down here in Australia…not everyone owns a pair as the price is 700+ but being in America you guys can pick up a pair for around $500 with the stronger dollar exchange rate…anyway looking at RM’s again regardless of the price after your review and the whole piece of yearling leather with no side stitching as a good pro selling point…cheers

It looks like Wolverine is killing-off the BLVD collection. They are going $99 or cheaper right now. Just as good as Thursday in my opinion.

BS Elliot Balmoral for the win. I love mine. The closed lacing (quarter sewn under vamp), no gap showing the tongue under the laces and no visible eyelet hardware all make it a great dress boot. They're also tall, so you get the ankle support more like an 8" boot. The Thursdays never quite look dressy to me because of the space between the eyelets.

You left out the GS Edwards, the Diesels, and the Ottawa’s. I own the Ottawa’s and they are just as dressy as any of your other recommendations. I have the Elliot Balmorals as well. They are a soft leather and super comfy.

Is there a cheaper boot you would recommend similar to the RM William Comfort? I am looking for a soft soled comfort dress boot with a wider toe box.

How do you think a Beckett Simonon Jodhpur would compare to a Carmina Jodhpur at almost a third the price?

I think you need to do an update of your Beckett Simonon timeline. I ordered mine July 2 and won't get them until late October. Closer to 16 weeks than 8. Hopefully, they shorten that soon.

I second that. I’ve ordered multiple items from Beckett Simonon this year and the boots and dress shoes have been taking 3-4 months to arrive. The sneakers are a little quicker and the bags take about a month and a half. I keep getting apology emails from them saying they’re experiencing higher volume than they have previously.

Glad to see the AE Hamilton boot on the list. However- IMO- a better Chukka boot would have been from Alden.

Beckett Simonon is averaging like 4 to 5 months for their order to delivery timeline, not anywhere near 2 months.

Yeah i ordered begining of sept and they estimate december for my boots. But it does depend on the shoe you order.

@@daimena.cianci2651 - I ordered July 9th and they estimate a late October delivery, but I won’t be surprised if it takes longer than that. Most people on Facebook and Reddit who’ve placed orders this year have reported ~4 month wait times in the U.S.; longer if outside the U.S.

I think you're wrong about the cowboy boot. Would I wear it to a black tie event? No. Would I wear it to church with a suit and tie? Absolutely, with the caveat that it be a round or narrow square toe (no wide square) and a leather and color that pairs well with what else I'm wearing. And of course, it must be clean and well taken care of.

Technically speaking, they’re not formal boots. That said, I wear cowboy boots to church all the time. And would definitely wear them to a wedding in Texas or Tennessee
