One of the best matches I've seen! There were AWESOME SHOTS made by both players here and a great display of respect and sportsmanship at the end!
That golden break at the end was absolutely epic. What a way to win.

When you’re at the bar down 5 racks. Remember this. Awesome match between these legends.
What a beautiful match...and display of sportsmanship at the end...Mark Wilson you are the best....
Is that Leonard Nimoy directly behind the shot clock?
Shane is my hero. Nerves of steel. Loved that huge between the players at the end
That was an unbelievable match. What a game. Wow.
Really appreciated how much the commentator's enjoyed the games and discussed wanting to cheer. they both clearly loved the performance and were thankful for their opportunity to participate in some way. The games speak for themselves. Gotta love pool.
9:09 minutes left in video, commentator saying “9-9 is our score”. The entire match was some supernatural type drama. Unreal.
What a match one of the best anyone could ask for definitely a match of momentum swings. Thanks Pat, Mark, and Accu-Stats great job!!!

Great match!
Please add commentator names to titles or in description so we can find Mark, JJ, Pat, Danny and Joe. Goes beyond experience and goes to nuance... amazing... makes us all better pool players.
im 67 i will never understand why they cant find more companies to sponsor these tournaments for advertising so the players could get paid what they worth
wow crazy game with a crazy finish
Old match. And so is the legendary voice who said: Ohh, he cares. He cares too much.
Van BoeninG es tremendo jugador, su rival también lo es, pero el juego no siempre está a tu favor, peeero que buena forma de terminar un juego fantástico 😮
EPIC GAME!!!!!!
Shane deserved that win. Amongst others he didnt get. Shout out to a great player. The man himself. SVB
I love watching pool but I would say it’s in the same field as golf. It’s more fun to play than watch but you learn a lot seeing what the pros do

Wow, Jason's 2-9 combinations, two racks in a row, wow...
VAN BOENING ..... nailed it
anyone besides me notice on the game tracker that was a hill / hill match ? count the wins and Shaw also had 10 wins going into last rack.

The fire power unreal.
Definitely their best match, in my opinion.

Like in a movie...golden break for the end
Great match your right about someone getting out on you n how things can mess up the way someone plays it's hard to keep a clear mind Shane is definitely a beast

Quick question what exactly is Shane looking for when he checks Shaw’s rack? And if he finds a problem what would be done?
@stdavis22

theyre both looking for balls that are not frozen together...not very likely using a template, but pretty common using normal wooden racks
@tgh223

Finals should be a race to 15 pool should be special to audience these players are professionals be able to show there skills
3rd rack Jayson's 2 rail kick on the 5 was a great shot...! (I know it missed)
LUCKY

Anyone notice they messed up the score when Shaw got his 8th point? It was Shane’s game but they gave Shaw the point.

Van Boening siempre tiene suerte que el otro falle o que el Shaw meta el golden break y se bañe la blanco damn Que buena partida de ambos
Nice to see shot clock and 2 ball on tail of rack. So many don't follow the rules.
2 of the bpoat
2 - 9 combo's in the 5th and 6th rack...
48:47 - when the edibles kick in and you start counting ceiling tiles
After 16 racks it shows shaw has 6 in a row the shane with 5 then shaw 2 the shane 1 then shaw 2. According to the rack stats its shaw 10 - 6 but the score shows 9-6. I think the rack stats are wrong. Its supposed to be 9-6 but rack stats shows it 10-6.
Ok, 1:09:10 was a "wow" shot... Followed by a "WHY!!???" shot . . . Overthinking position on otherwise gimmie shots is usually what distracts. Like Danny Deliberto always says, just make the shot . . . Spoiler: Fantastic conclusion! SVB!!!

Also the way his elbows shoots off the tangent line on his back swing hinders some of his shots.
Is it 9ft table everyone ?
Very tired of Billy who won’t shut up and Danny whistling thru his false teeth who’s also not short of words. Mark Wilson and Jeremy Jones are the best.

Streaky match. 6 straigth racks for Shaw to start. Then 5 straight for Shane.
The golden break was the cherry on top, absolutly 🤌🤌🤌
I am surprised that all those girls sitting behind SVB did not look at him, not one!!!
Why does Jayson Shaw check Shane's rack at the beginning? Can the opponent call a re rack for the other guy if he isnt satisfied? Even though its his opponents rack? Could these guys rack it in such a way as to "cheat"?
Hola, el 8 a 5 esta mal tendría que ser 7 a 6
Wrong poin in rack 12. In rack 13 svb break but the poin for shaw
Was it 11-9 or 11-10?

And the reason Shaw is good with those plants etc is that he's an animal on a snooker table so small shots like that are nothing really.. Great match
That is one good-looking woman at 26:26!
"Flash in the pan Shaw" .... always trying to shark SVB .... by checking the rack every time. Lol You still lost Irish 😂
At 27:07 watch the woman on the left look at Jayson...! She wants what she sees.... LOL
Why are they look at each other’s balls before the break?
2:40 lag 4:00 first break
think luck has nothing to do with this game? watch the first 6 games and tell me that
You can shake a little bit and be in a fight can't shake in a pool game.
Jayson did NOT have a baby!!!
What a match but what a difference matchroom has done to update this event watching this It looks like something from the early 2000’s not 2016… the camera work is terrible why on earth is the players racking the balls, and why are the players sitting on the other side of the arena. Well done Barry Hearn and Emily Frazer for bringing this into the 21 century

You are allowed to go over as long as you are down on the shot before the clock ends.
Mark Wilson knows about everything. Don't fall for his humble sublimation ignorance claims.

It's call a push shot, it happens after the break where have to option to mvoe the ball a d your opponent can either take the shot or give it back to you

Is it just me that thinks Jayson Shaw looks like the monster pedo from Sin City
When the 9 is to be re-spotted then it always goes on the original spot, so where it was in the rack or where the 1 is on the standard 9ball rack not forward.
These dudes miss a lot more easy shots than the older pros did in their days.
Glasgow doesn’t rhyme with cow. How the hell can someone be an announcer and not even have the sense to ask someone how to pronounce the words he has to say??
Mark is an excellent commentator, but I am shocked that he made the statement that the best player still wins the match in pool. Yes, he wins the vast majority of the time but completely untrue to say the best player still wins the match in pool. I've beaten players in tournaments who I was not only not as good as, but I will never be as good as them no matter how much I practiced or played in tournaments. My goodness, why would he make such a stupid statement?
Down 6 0, Shane played as bad as he possibly could, still beat that 💩
