Ice in oil was amazing!

The first one is an example of super saturation of sodium acetate, I.e more is dissolved than should be given the conditions but there’s an energetic nucleation barrier. The surface (hand, plant, whatever), provides a lower energy point for stuff to stick to and start the phase change from aqueous to solid crystal. Once the crystal starts growing more ions keep sticking you and get bigger single crystals.

Amazing Experiments! They reminded me of my childhood when I use to be more curious and excited to learn

The first reaction doesn't actually make ice crystals. The baking soda (NaHCO3) and vinegar (HC2H3O2) react to form aqueous sodium acetate (NaC2H3O2). This sodium acetate is still in solution and is supersaturated. When a seed crystal is introduced, it provides a site for all the dissolved acetate to precipitate out as crystals. Thus, the "ice" that forms are actually sodium acetate crystals. (This is also how rock candy is made!)

Once I experienced instant ice: I had a bottle of acidulated water (or sprinkling mineral water) outdoors. It was not a strong frost outside. The water was still in a liquid state. As soon as I opened the bottle the water started to freeze. It was due to the release of pressure insde the bottle. The copper wire experiment: you shold supprt the ice on both ends and let the middle free. Then put the wire across. The wire will pass through the ice without cutting it in two pieces. Theice remains stable.

To demonstrate supercooling you don't have to use specially purified water. As I noticed it is very much possible to use a bottle of carbonated drink instead. Also because it is under pressure the liquid is more stable in its supercooled state.

Sir vapour pressure lowering is when we mix a non volatile solute to the solution. He didnt do it. Its just boiling is the process when vapour pressure inside the container becomes equal to or higher than atmospheric pressure. And since he let it rest for 10 second after boiling making the vapour collect inside container and hence the inside pressure increases, while placing ice above the container decreased the outer atmospheric pressure. And they became equal very fast (even this will make inside vapour pressure higher than atmospheric pressure) and started to boil.

In the first vinegar trick They made ANHYDROUS ACETIC ACID Which On cooling forms GLACIAL ACETIC ACID (The Ice Type Thing))👌👌👌👌

It's baking soda Turing back to solid state. This kind of things can be done with all kind of salt in a properly solvent ( vinegar in this case)
