I understand the cost of making something is expensive, but what made an 1100 an 1100 was the pretty I ingraving on the receiver. Having “sporting” sounds cheap to me especially for 1,200 price tag

Thank you for your comment. We can only reply this way: in the 1970’s when minimum wage was $2.25, gas was $.45 a gallon and the legendary Remington 1100 sold for $300, that $300 was alot of money as well. These new 1100’s are made to be more versatile with 4 choke tubes for a wider range of shooting/hunting. There is engraving on the new models (shown closer in a older video). The only downside we see in the new model is the 2 3/4” chamber. We would have liked to see it in 3”. But this 1100 was made for the Sporting Shooter(hence the name “Sporting 12”) and the Small Game Hunter. Now compare these new features with the top shotguns in its class and the new Remington 1100 is actually priced very well. This gun was designed to shoot/hunt and not to take abuse. Looking forward to seeing them in 20 gauge and 410 gauge when they arrive at Ron’s. Thank you for your comment.

Ron has had a head cold for a couple weeks. He is taking an antibiotic but hasn’t been able to shake it. He doesn’t drink alcoholic beverages, but thanks for the suggestion. Keep watching!
