Some people want the Trade Centre to be rebuilt. I don’t think we should rebuild either of the centre’s. They’re part of the history in our country and we should keep the memorial.

I disagree. It shows that we lost. Rebuilding shows that you are unstoppable and ypu are strong. Without the towers NYC looks plain and sad and empty. The towers were icons. Leaving one tower that remains simply shows you given up.

They were the tallest buildings in US history, not even the freedom tower csn replace the reputation that the Twin Towers had. To this day in NY, people puting world trade center murals on walls and on their property. Rebuilding them along with a memorial and a museum will be much better. Twin Towers WTC, ellis Island, Statue Of Liberty, times square, Rockefeller street and other famous landmarks made New York for what it is today. Without these landmarks New york wouldn't be that famous. The Twin Towers brought many tourists from around the world. Millions. Thats houw popular and fampus it is.

@@v_spw4355 i do agree with you, but again, it’s part of our history. it may show that we’re strong if we rebuild it, but it could be disrespectful to the people who died in there; either first response workers or just people in the building in general.

The brutal attacks of 9/11/2001 must never be forgotten and society must give the survivors every conceivable support! The victims and their families must not be forgotten either. The war on international terrorism must be continued with all severity and consistency. The terrorist organization Al Qaeda still exists and the Islamic State (IS) is even more fanatical. I think it's completely wrong that NATO troops left Afghanistan. You should have stayed there. The local staff and their core families must be allowed to leave the country. Most of the blame for this disaster is Joe Biden, but the fight for democracy, freedom and human rights continues. May God give strength to all people who were hit by unhappiness that day as a complete surprise! God bless all victims and their families! Amen!

9-11 A fire ripped open the sky, scorching the hearts of the world. Stunned in silence we watched, not believing, unable to grasp what lay in the ruins. Something great was lost, indefinable, ineffable, far beyond the destruction and death, ...an ideal. A page turned, a chapter ended, the new one too painful for the story; marching forward we took backwards steps, trying to force redemption while sifting for closure in dust that could never settle. There was nothing that could begin to replace what was taken right before our eyes, and in the moment we blinked, the last remains of our innocence was stolen away.

Reasons that Trump was not at a 9/11 memorial: 1) He would have to wear a mask. 2) He'd have to stand in solidary with people that he's outright attacked with multiple lies. 3) He'd have to be silent and respectful to the dead and fallen. 4) The ceremony isn't about him, so why bother.
