Thankfully all the videos of that day are edited so there aren’t the grotesque pictures and videos of the dead bodies everywhere. I’ll never forget the pictures of hundreds of dead bodies on adjacent rooftops of people jumping to escape burning to death. The most disturbing was a woman towards the top of the north tower sticking her head out of a window with thick heavy smoke all around her trying to breath and then eventually jumping. Even thinking about her fills me with rage. Then I think about the hundreds of thousands of people who died because of that POS Osama Bin Laden.

In Pakistan, we had only one Govt TV channel PTV those days. I remember, after the first plane hit the tower, PTV switched its transmission to the CNN. It was really horrifying and eyes couldn't first understand really, that what's happening. But then, when a Senior CNN reporter was standing on another building, the second plane hit the tower, which I watched live on TV like a Hollywood movie.. An extraordinary incident of our age, changing the course of history big time. God bless the departed souls.

Planes were hijacked by barbaric brainwashed evil terrorist. Planes hit the towers with such force breaking off most of the fire retardant coating on the steel structure. Thousands of gallons of highly inflammable jet fuel that ignited with intense heat causing the steel structure to weaken and bend from the above weight of the towers, gravity did the rest crushing each floor below the impact area over loading the design structural strength. So not many unanswered really , They have all the answers to how they collapsed, just plain old tried and tested engineering physics.

20 years on and the fire is still burning in the hearts of those who lost loved ones on that day. I was in the states when this happened as a young boy and was due to fly back to the uk from Boston a few days after 9/11. We got stuck there until October and we were on one of the first flights out of Logan airport after 9/11. i never really appreciated it because i was only 10 but now it’s shocking to see the footage 20 years later.

When Atlanta international airport was shut down immediately after the attack and people exited the planes. My brother worked in maintenance he said they found 4 box cutters in the garbage at the exits. Fortunately for the people on those planes their flights were running late that morning. Rest in peace we will never forget.

I'll never for get that day and seeing it happening like on the news on the tv in my school assembly hall. And everyone screaming in shock when we saw the second tower get hit in real time.
