Grid windows look right with the vintage of the house. And so much light!! The house is starting to breathe!!
Yes, more progress! Windows in means that sheetrock and trim is coming soon! Can't wait. Thanks for the new content!
Great video - thought you'd forgotten about this house 😁The Deer just walking past was amazing Thanks

I like all your videos. I don’t care that you switch from project to project. I learn something every time. Continue being you.
Those windows are too tight! Probably going to have binding issues as the house moves and settles. Also vinyl windows expand and contract with the weather.
Nice seeing you back again and the progress on this house. The big windows in the living room really make the open field look picturesque. In fact, so does the porch. Anyway, loving it all and can't wait for your next project. Take care and be safe.
I loved watching you install the windows and seeing a deer walking by behind you. I hope whoever moves in there, appreciates the beauty inside and out.
Wow, drywalling is right around the corner! I can see the final look of the house now.
This is INCREDIBLY inspirational. We have a house that was built in 1912, and was move-in ready when we bought it, but we're starting to find out what we want/need out of the home, and what renovations we need to make. Getting a lot of ideas from both this channel, and comparable homes in our neighborhood.
Windows! This is going to be such a light and airy home for some lucky renters. That we're one step closer to sheetrock is exciting! I think about the $12,000 dollar house and the amazing transformation it and we experienced. Looking forward to all that here! Thanks for your channel!
I LOVE seeing this house come along!
How exciting! Looks great.
Always nice to see an update on this house, thanks for sharing. :)
This house is really coming together! I just love it! Can't wait for more :)
YES! The windows are finally going in! Thanks for coming back to this house to get more work done.. it's all coming together nicely.
I am always excited to get notifications about your page regarding anything you are doing. It will be so great to see this house finished. I really like watching things coming together for you.
Such lovely light from all those lovely windows
Coming together very well! Your hard work is paying off! Thanks for taking us along with you.
Always a good day when I get to see one of your videos. What a transformation those two front windows made. It brightened that room up so much.
Nice to see house progress again.
Good to see you again, nice content as always, hope the family is doing well.
You're an inspiration. Keep up the good work!
Loved seeing the deer in the background. Those windows look awesome. Good job, keep up the progress, the house is looking great.
SO GLAD you put in windows with grids!!! Looks terrific!
Wow! I've been watching all of your videos, and I think that you are doing an amazing job! I can hardly wait to see the drywall installed! I love the glass bricks that you installed in the upstairs bathroom! You are awesome!
Having the windows in makes a huge difference. Your 9,000 dollar house is starting to look a lot more expensive. Good for you. Can't wait to see the rooms once the windows are wrapped and the drywall is in. Feel encouraged, you have worked hard on this place and it shows.
Love your videos! Know your a busy person. Love seeing when one pops up. Always learn When I see a new video.
So lovely and green. It looks lovely. The windows are great
👍 I agree, the windows really make it look so great! Crazy improvements and looks so good. Awesome. Peace and good fortune and good health to you and your family. 😃 such a lovely home now.
I bet it's a great feeling & a relief to have the house that much closer to being buttoned up. The porch (and the house itself) has come a long way. Hoping all is well Bud, Dirty Jersey out!!
Yay! So happy for an update! I really agree that the house is looking more house-like with the windows in. They look great so far. You're SO CLOSE to finishing up this project, sir. Can't wait for the next video!!! Let's gooooooooo~
I love the grids in the windows! It suits the house style and gives it more curb appeal!
I don't know why, but the dining room is my favorite space in this house. It already seems very inviting, cozy, and safe.
Look back man and just appreciate it, the time and effort your putting to that house is a blessing. I would love to be in your position. You’re doing a great job, keep up the greatness, I absolutely love watching your videos.
I've been patiently waiting. Thank you for uploading 😄
My favorite is the little porch! Amazing what the windows in living room make! I like the deer also!
I will have to say, the windows made all the difference..let’s clean up the trash, organize and then reshow it..love ya!!!
Coming along nicely. The new windows look great! I enjoy watching the houses updated and become a home again👍👍Curious if you'll use a split system to heat and cool😊
I don't know much about window installation in the US and Canada but over here we leave a bigger gap to put the window frames in level. We also have no attached weather stripes, we use sprayfoam. Greetings from Germany
@rsporter

That is essentially the correct way in US/Canada as well. This was not a correct installation and the warranties have likely been voided by installing them so tight.
The grid style windows are nice.
Yes! Another upload!
I like the windows with divided panes, I think it suits the age of the home. I'm just so happy to see the windows in place, I've been waiting on this milestone. It really feels like the house is coming back to life.
That music and deer at 8:28 was a nice touch!
Brilliant work and thanks for sharing this with us take care
Such a big difference to before!!! Very awesome job on the house!!!
Very nice work man, the house is coming along beautifully! shout out to the Buck checking out the neighborhood, thanks for sharing
The front of the house is looking sooooo good!
What a beautiful Buck at the 8:00 mark. The grids in the windows makes it homey. You are correct it keeps looking like home.
I love the grid windows
Awesome video - those windows made it a house instead of a construction zone. You're right, that little front porch is the selling point as is the grassy expanse across the street; it looks so peaceful! It's been a long time coming - wish we could see a side by side of before and after; those bedrooms w their low ceilings and etc really came out nice. Thanks for another great video!!
Windows look fantastic. It’s going to be a beautiful house.
The grid windows are really nice, perfectly matching the grid doors on the house! Concerning the side porch: Will you also paint the railings white like on the front porch???
The progress is fantastic, it's all coming together, I agree about the grid-style windows it naturally gels with the style or character of the house. The little subtle details to me at least add up in terms of the appeal and overall feel making it more desirable as a "Home."
Just when I was wondering where you’ve been with this $9,000 house, you drop a new video, 👍👏👏👏
The house is really looking alive again. The windows make a huge difference. It is a small house, but it is cozy and comfortable. Well done indeed. I love seeing a house like that being brought back to life and turning into a home. Once finished it will be a terrific home for your tenants, and when you do sell, the new owners will be able to feel secure knowing the work was all done right.
I'm with you on the window grids.
I've never seen windows flush with the drywall. That's an interesting decision that should make the trim work way easier!

Inside trim, not outside flashing lol. I honestly can't believe he did that. But apparently didn't measure correctly either

Interesting the different styles you see out there. I can't remember any house i've lived in that the windows didn't sit flush with the interior wall, some with trim then proud of that or not.

WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT!!! Thank you. P.S. I always appreciate the music.
Windows look good. Time to finish that house and get some cash flow going. Its only been what?three years? Admire your work ethic.
Keep em coming man! Great Videos!
I LOVE the grids!!
I think it is a great looking house with lots of personality and it will be nice to see the definition of each room once the drywall is on
apreciate the new hands on content, keep it up !!
I had a great laugh at 1:52...The windows look great! I never understood why the entrance stair and veranda are separated at the top...
The windows highlight just how much work you have done on the house - they look really sharp 😁👌👏👏👏❤️
Ur work on house etc is tremendous, im tired just thinking about how much work you do n u have a family. House looking great!
I love the look of the windows.
The house is looking really good
I like the 6 over 6 windows. It does look correct for the house.
Buddy the place is coming along nicely. I still don't understand how you keep it all straight with all the projects you got going on, but it's cool that you share it all with us. Thank you Simplistic for the sponsor, this channel is more than worth it. Can't wait for the next one, I'm sure you are anxious to be done already. Drywall and installs.....bring it on bro.
They look really good already. Looking forward to the flashing and dry wall videos. It's going to look so different when those steps are complete. I bet you could finish up the house this year and get it rented out by the start of next if you really want to.
That's the same kind of door lock I used to have on my door. Works great
That will end up as a really nice home, excellent work 💯
Any reason why adhesive waterproof flashing/window wrap wasn’t installed on the sill before installation? Just trying to learn here…
@missykowalewski

I wondered the same thing. There is a way to do a waterproofing on the windows before putting them in. Cuts down on later costs.

@@tysonparker7403 the windows themselves may be waterproof, but that won’t stop water from infiltrating around the windows.

@@OntopRob I agree. I would most likely get the waterproofing tape and put it on all the windows even if they were already waterproofed. It’s the nurse in me. I do overkill in everything.
Windows with grids makes the house look better👌
That porch with all the windows is quite attractive. Lookin' so good.
Looks like the buck was admiring your work on the windows too. Thanks for another interesting video.
Love this house
Great video, nice windows. Thanks
windows look a little tight in those rough opening frames? When spec'ing out the dimensions I would have left an 1/8" to 3/16" on ether side to allow for easy fit, levelling and climate expansion. You can also purchase drywall edging trim with an exposed metal edge to cap off the edge of the drywall. or use tear away corner bead to give a nice finish.
The deer across the road outside the door at 8:35 was a nice touch.
loving the look and the deer too!
Nice work, keep 'em coming!!!!!!!
Looks very homey! Love it!
Bet that feels dang good to have the last hard, disagreeable part finally DONE❗️ Ain't nothin to it but to do it❗️ Well done, my friend. 👏 Looking forward to finally stages of closing in this house❗️ 🏠 🥰 P.S. I love the windows with the battens inside! 👍
Another great video overall, but there were a couple really neat moments like the Visitor in the background and how that storm developed from the thunder at 29:01 to the gale force winds at the end :)
Thanks for sharing.
Deer just walking on by, love it.
at about 8 min 30 seconds a deer wondered by across the street I love your videos Thanks

You have the best background music.
Love seeing this update. I think those windows are going to look really sharp, when you get them trimmed up! It was a good decision, going with the grid look windows on this older house. 👍 Also, I wanted to say that I enjoyed the retrospective videos you put out on this house, esp the bits that highlighted your epic battle with your nemesis, the CONCRETE POST. Great stuff!! ❤ Looking forward to more saw mill barn stuff too. Really am enjoying that build!

Also concerned about not having rubber flashing tying the house wrap to the window openings and water proofing it. Seems like hes going to have a hard time making these openings weather tight.
