    I am a mechanic. I wouldn’t bother with 100% fuel during the season. The only damage it causes is if it sits in carbs and tanks without being used. It turns to yellow slime and can clog small jets. If you are going through tanks every day it doesn’t matter. Typically i will use 100% only near end of season so it doesn’t sit in the off season. Takes about 3 months to start breaking down and causing problems.

    Oh didn’t know. Always heard 100% was better on your mowers so that’s what I stuck with. I appreciate your advice man! 👍🏻

    @@RogersLawnCareI have used VP Racing 4-Stroke ethanol free fuel in all of my gas equipment and even small outboards. The price of having extremely high quality ethanol free fuel is worth it to prevent headaches. Let the people who don’t want to spend the money on fuel, spend it on rebuilding or replacing their carburetors and fuel lines. Downtime with equipment used for work or fun isn’t worth saving a few dollars by using E10 pump gas. The fuel I use has a multi-year shelf life in the metal container, and certainly at least a year inside your tank. My equipment starts almost instantly after sitting off season. It is impressive to say the least. Nice looking Bad Boy mower.

    It can be pretty rough sometimes when it rains. I have had a few long days mowing in the rain cause I have no choice. I do love it tho and enjoy the outside. Them big yards take time but they pay good. Zt elites are really good mowers as well. How do u like the John Deere? Thank you!

    @RogersLawnCare The John Deere is a 2016 42in cut 20 hp Briggs, it does good on small to medium properties but the large ones take forever. I wanted a 2nd mower for larger properties plus a backup mower. I researched Bad Boy for a few months plus my local dealer is 20 minutes from my house.

    @@jamestallo8949 well you do save a bunch of time mowing with a bigger or mower. Also they make a 72 inch bad boy if you’re mowing a lot of fields that may be a good option for you. 👍🏻

    I think I’m an ass because I look at some of your lawns and I think to myself maybe you did it in 45 min but that’s only because you paid how many grand for a 60-61 inch commercial grade mower to allow yourself to cut down time. Does this mean you short yourself possibly or again I’m just an ass 🤔 it’s like if your a electrician and because of your skill and maybe tricks of the trade you may be able to do a job in 30min that usually takes anyone else 1 hr if not longer wouldn’t you agree you should still be paid according to your skill Vs the time spent . I get it a lot of people will say well anyone can mow grass but it takes a skilled individual to burn in some nice lines, put a nice edge on beds and sidewalks etc.

  • @RogersLawnCare

    @RogersLawnCare

    17 күн бұрын

    I can’t really price extra just due to the fact of skill level. Most people don’t even care about how well the grass is cut. They just want it mowed. So you gotta be able to compete but not low ball yourself either. As long as I’m making a profit and can get in and out of there fast that’s good for me. You can’t really justify extra charge based off of skill. Most people won’t go for that when it comes to cutting grass. There is always a little Timmy down the road who will mow their grass for less. So you just gotta be fair.

    Cuts fast. Can slow down a little going uphill due to the weight of the mower. But it does great.

    After maintenance costs, fuel, taxes, insurance, how much is that?

  • @RogersLawnCare

    @RogersLawnCare

    27 күн бұрын

    Well if you get paid cash then what taxes. fuel cost me 130$ for the week and I mow for multiple days. The only maintenance cost I have is when I change oil every 100 hours which cost me like 40$ or something. Also don’t have insurance on my mowers. So I atleast come out to 730$ for the day not counting what I make the rest of the days I mow.
