Thank you very much! This video is really helpful! This video proves that quartz clock moments can be repaired and restored either it may be normal or pendulum model. So that people will no more get tempted to throw old, damaged and unfunctioning clocks into garbage or by the side of road or street as waste. Instead they would inspired to repair the quartz pendulum moment when the pendulum stops.

Hi I had this for years but do not remember where I got it from. You should be able to buy from the internet. Take care

A guess at the big coil with 3 terminations would be that is two coils. One to detect the magnet on the pendulum and trigger the transistor to pass current through the other coil to repel the magnet. A guess on the mechanical mechanism is there is some sort of ratchet effect that prevents the little magnetic armature thing going back. Looking around 05:48 does the top of the rotating magnet have a have a sort of helical shape. I have put my box of bits away again at the moment so I can't check here. I am trying to get some other work done. Some of Lidmotor's pulse motor circuits have the coil with the centre tap to trigger the transistor so you might find some of his videos helpful.

After putting a new battery you need to open it and have a look if anything is stopping it. The electronics last a long time unless it’s been dropped. It’s hard to say without looking at it.

Can i use this thing to make a n automatic wagging tail for a cozplay?

I’m not an expert but a new battery and make sure the contacts are clean. What made my clock slow was when I put the battery wrong way. The electronics should be okay. Can’t tell until you open it up. Hope this helps good luck
