if you're a novice like me, then I wouldn't recommend them they don't run at XMP 8200MT but the TeamGroup 7200MT do, and they cost less! I'm returning the 8200MT vipers and keeping the 7200MT teamgroup.
I used the exact same setting on both sets of ram, and the TeamGroup were definitely a lot better for me. but I'm no expert and someone who with more expertise might be able to get them stable. But with the xmp setting they weren't stable. I spent several hours trying but couldn't get the vipers stable. and the teamgroup did it with very little effort. the settings I used are fairly loose someone who knows what there're doing would be able to use tighter timings!
I've uploaded the timings for people to copy I hope it helps someone because that's the only reason I've uploaded this.
this is my experience your experience might be better I'm not telling anyone not to buy them I'm just saying that for me the 7200MT teamgroup were much better for me.
