That's nice. I have had a few Malibu Classic's and Monte Carlo's thru the years and have always enjoyed them very much. You have a well kept example.

My first car was a '71 Malibu. I wouldn't mind finding a '81.Malibu, year I was born. Coolest of the G-body's. I owned a '79 Cutlass Supreme, made me fall in love with the G-bodies.

Sweet ride dude! You wouldnt have even needed to prime the carb. Aww many of these babies around when I was growing up! Even my Scout leader had this exact model but two-tone.

Nice car! I knew as soon as you spoke that you were from this area, I live on the South Shore. I had a '78 but with the sluggish 3.3 v6. I'd love to find another with a more powerful motor someday. Mine was an original black car with a white interior, I bought it from the original owner's son.

SMYLY CHEVROLET!!!!!! MY PARENTS BOUGHT THEIR '77 CONCOURS THERE BACK IN THE DAY!!!!!!! I was just reading Will Smyly's obituary. He passed away in 2006 .

Interesting that the Caprices and Malibus had similar looking hubcaps as optional equipment, but I dont think they were available here in Canada.
