Nah, you were cool! Back in the day TV just seemed more exciting with fewer channels. It seemed like a special night when you'd hear these movie of the bumpers and go running down the shag carpeted hall to see what was going to be on! 😅

Was a freshmen in high school in 1985. I remember my friend and I would call each other when our favorite show came on and talk about it on the TV as we were watching it! Thins were much simpler and sometimes nicer.

I remember seeing the 80s dust busters in day care in the 2000s, they would hang on the wall and batteries were shot so you got maybe 10 seconds of vacuuming out of them.

How to get to Heaven and be sure of it! Every person has sinned (Romans 3:23), but God’s standard is perfection (James 2:10), any departure from perfection disqualifies you for entrance into Heaven. Your works do not gain you entrance into Heaven (Eph 2:8, 9). The Bible says that Jesus, the eternal Son of God became man (1 Timothy 3:16), lived in sinless perfection (1 Peter 2:21,22) and bore our sins in his body (1 Peter 2:23, 24). He died on the cross (John 19:31-42) and took the punishment that we deserve. Romans 5:8 says, “but God showed his love for us while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”. Then he was raised from the dead for our Justification (Romans 4:25). To go to Heaven and to be saved from eternal punishment, we must place our Faith in Him, trusting His death on the cross to pay for our sins, we will be forgiven and receive the gift of eternal life in Heaven. John 6:47 “Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that believeth hath eternal life”. You have a choice (John 3:14-18, John 3:36, John 6:40 & Acts 16:30, 31). Put you trust in the Lord Jesus and be save!

Christianity has always been a weekly revolving door where you rent your soul like buying a $1 candy. "Believe I am God and love me and I will reward you will Heaven, or else I will throw you in a lake of fire for eternity, regardless of what you did and said in life" is the Devil's promise. Jeffrey Dahmer is with Jesus and Gandhi is in Hell, according to Christian doctrine.
