I know these sounds and seeing the tach needle go into the black is crazy but I don’t shift like that i short shift at 7,000 rpm. I hear that TR51 jet fighter cover and I have one as well.

What headers are you running? I think I’m gonna eventually bite the bullet and swap to ELH. I’m running Tomei UEL.

PTE 6466 with a Boost Lab T51R cover and the 3” ETS intake. The turbo is a lot louder with the intake off.

The first couple clips are with the stock turbo cover. The second dyno pull on the car has the T51R cover.

What happened to the wastegate on that last pull/launch? Did it only open in first and the rest of the gears had all the boost, or did the camera just not pick it up bc it was so loud?

Currently the turbo gets Alll The Boost. I have the turbo smart hyper gate with 30lb spring. I’m going to go back to a 45mm gate soon.

One of my friends is a master technician at Subaru and rebuilds their transmission for them. So he built the transmission for my car

External gate. It’s a turbo smart 60mm hyper gate with 30lb spring. Rarely opens at higher rpm’s. Lower end it opens

@@robertcurnutte24 makes sense🤔. What would you recommend, let's say you would want to make like 500+hp on a ej25 but you don't want the sound of a external waste gate being louder than the actual exhaust?

@@toxicgamer9776 go with a FP black and internal gate. If you want a rotated setup then you could do a custom dump tube that is plumbed back into the exhaust.

First gear launch . I have the IAG ppg straight cut gears, they are a little longer vs 07+ sti gears.

@@elmzsni I have the IAG 1-4 ppg gears, upgraded shift forks and upgraded transfer gears. She built. DSS 800hp rear axles, DSS carbon fiber driveshaft as well.

The equal length header takes the traditional Subaru sound away. I personally think the equal length exhaust manifold sounds better.

This car makes my last marriage sound worse then it already was . Props this car is built better then my last wife .
