I hear a lot of BMWs with this kind of tune and I hate it. I get little pops and burbles from my exhaust and sometimes I wish it did more of it but when I hear the nonstop “forced” stuff like this I’m just happy with what I have.

I have never understood this backfire trend. We had cars 50 years ago that did that because we weren't technically advanced. Today, these software tuning guys are programming this shit in, even though we've long since evolved! WTF? I don't understand this world anymore.

It is really stupid. It seems someone needs to overcompensate because we just have turbocharged cars these days that mostly have sound issues anyway. Combine that with fake sound through the sound system or a speaker in the exhaust and you are ready to puke early in the morning.

the engine break sounds weird to me.

Overun is just terribble imo. I wouldnt mind one pop on up shifts and maybe on liftoff, but not 2 seconds of machine gun just anmoying. Lovely car tho. No disrepsect to owner

It's way too small for that, not even 5m long. The perfect daily would be an M7 long wheel base. Unfortunately they never made an M7, just an M760Li.

That steering wheel lights are badly calibrated. At 3500rpm already entering the red light zone wtf? That induces the driver in error and defeats the purpose. And at 6000rpm they already blinking red when redline is at 7200? It only should blink red when you reach 7000 to tell you to change gear! Calibrate that properly sir...

They should´ve just left the Stock Steering Wheel as it was. Really dont get how People can make it like that, makes the Car look cheap like its tuned from some Ebay Parts. Also the exaggerated Pops and Bangs dont make it better either.

Not bad but I have to be honest, I prefer the days of the old style BMs. Like the F82 M4 or even older, E92 M3. But that's just me and each to their own.

Excuse me, my Lord, we have failed you. The title contains the word "faster", when indeed the correct word would be "quicker", as the 800HP M8 - aka The Popcorn and Fart Machine - accelerates faster than the Ferrari F12 but is limited to a top speed of 298km/h.

M8 is a beast, and M850i is a beast as well. But to many pops!

too much popcorn sounds better without it.

The steering wheel is a bit much, but may be due to the camera??

Yes, it’s because the frame rate of the camera doesn’t match the refresh rate of the led’s on the steering wheel or the center screen for example

Monster car bmw is making monster cars lately

I once had an Peugeot where the exaust mount broke and the exaust was scraping on the ground. That sounded exactly the same as this exaust when letting go of the gas pedal

Should have put it in comfort when you were driving slowly, that way the annoying overrun would be less

Having seen this car in real life, I can assure you that nothing in this video comes close to explaining the actual sound. It is absolutely brutal even at idle.. I live in a country where there are supercars on every corner, and this was something else.
