Wow! Love it! And the Etruscan wall!!!!! Wow!

The tower, from outside is, of course spectacular. The disappointment starts as soon as you open the front door. Four matchbox rooms of claustrophobic aspect linked by skinny industrial steel steps, - literally no room to swing a cat. Every passerby gets more benifit from the tower than the person who disburses nearly half a million. A total aesthetic and practical nightmare. And that’s before the Ministry Belle Arti say you need to take specialist care of those Etruscan stones!!!!! Buy the house opposite and enjoy the view. That said, as always I appreciate Brad’s channel.

Only thing, would've liked to've seen some of the township, and distances to the necessaries like supermarket, bars, restaurants, transport etc. but yes, unique property, bravo! 😊

I’ll try to get more or that into next video. It’s a small town…. Not a whole lot to show. Try calling Montalcino up on Google maps. I do that with every video or real estate listing. I look at if I don’t know the town. Great way to see what’s around.

I wonder if you could put a small hot tub on the roof deck? Be really cool if you could. Cheers🍷

This was a labor of love that as soon as they were through with it, said, I don't love it! I wonder if I can get my money back. Like you said we will see what the market decides. I showed my pet mountain goat those stairs, and he said, " those look dangerous." Great view from the top though.

Very unique, as will finding a buyer will be. A long time on the market I bet, very small pool of potential buyers at that price.

I've become a "BradsWorld" fan....not just because of this property but several of your showcase properties have gotten my attention....well thought out renovations or like this property exquisitely well executed remodels. I don't see myself living in this space but it's a dynamite rental.

I personally would like to see more affordable options,detached with a small plot of land. The little house across the street from the window you opened is a perfect size. An independent house with trees right at the center of Montalcino is going to be BIG $$$! I also shot a video of a 2 bedroom 1 bath home in same town. It will be coming in soon! Well you were right modern interior the best craftsmanship I've seen in a long time on those stairs they kind of grew on me I have a little fear of heights so that many stairs for me is kind of scary but seeing the impeccable quality in which those stairs were made I actually felt safe and that's why you're in a four-story stone tower is to feel safe right so good job great video❤

Unique investment opportunity. Certainly not what we're looking for, but it is always fun to see different properties.

Agreed. The interior architecture looks unprofessional and haphazard. It needed more thought.

I appreciated seeing something unexpectedly different that’s makes me think about how to use space to its absolute fullest potential. I would never have guessed so much could have been packed into that tower. It may not be the place for me, I already own a lighthouse…I don’t need another tower to climb. But if I was looking for a quirky investment property in Italy instead of a lock and leave for me to grow old visiting, this would be something I’d consider.

Very modern, but still cool. it would be fun to rent it sometime. I don't want to own it though. I have no interest in being in the rental business.There is a building like that in the US back east somewhere. it was the bell tower for a huge church that burned. Parts of the church ruins are a city park now but they sold off the tower to a guy who stacked the rooms on top of each other with a roof deck. Same vibe but with less of a view.

Skyrim castle! Museum, plus jujitsu academy. You could do tours, of your own house!?! Shelby, the dogo, wants that rooftop deck....RUFF!

In addition, the bedroom is cramped and right at the front door, ground level. I would feel unsafe. The living room and the bedroom should switch locations.

And you could easily do that. Montalcino is about as safe a town as you can find anywhere.

The renovation plan was terribly wrong in many aspects. And it is more expensive to correct and re do that than makei right the first time.

Zero. Nothing. It was their choice to modernize the look of it. They could have gone back in with straw mattresses and no plumbing or windows and a bunch of wood ladders made from tree branches but…. It’s not 1224. It’s 2024. Everything in Italy doesn’t have to be old oak timbers and terra cotta floors. Just saying!! A little diversity isn’t a bad thing. This one’s just not your cup of tea.

Airbnb guests at any level will damage your property without compensation from the guests or from Airbnb. It's not safe anymore. 9:06 Is the house across the street for sale?

No on house across the street. I use AirBnB and Booking.com for my four rentals. Booking.com is 6X more powerful for us over AirBnB. Also more expensive commission. Anyway…. We haven’t had any issues in Hundreds of rentals with damages. None. Zip. Zero. I’m sure something will happen but been over a year and nada. And ours are super high end with hundreds of year old antiques etc. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

I've had famous guests with name recognition refuse to pay for their damages to my super high end property. Airbnb was no help either. The only consolation was they played that game too often with people more important than I am, and now they're in real trouble.

Well idk 😅 yes it nice that its a tower and the metal is nice But other than that it's like a kids playhouse. Well maybe not that bad but they didn't do much to the interior. No tiling around the kitchen no\just very blah. They didn't do much to make it look homey or anything actually and the kitchen?? I mean it's all right but definitely I don't see how they think it's worth that much money just because it's in a cool old Tower. The inside is really not much for for that kind of money. You could get a very comfortable place with a kitchen and all the wonderful things 😅 thank you Brad very interesting property! Someone will love this

Not my cuppa-tea,. I prefer a more sympathetic or classic look to renovation of old buildings. However, I'm sure someone will snap it up. Btw, you are looking great despite the trials and tribulations of closing down your sofa business.

Welcome back you look fantastic. As for this property it's thumbs down across the board. All I could say is the construction is very solid. And the tower is very old which is lovely. Claustrophobic way to modern, being on the top of the tower frightens me the thought of a fire below how do you escape. The prices for all the labor. I'm so sorry I couldn't like it😢

I was amazed with the stainless steel work. Yeah they spent a ton of money. Like I said in the video, not everybody’s cuppa tea but the execution for what they had to work with was pretty good. That things only about 12’ x 14 feet or roughly 3 x 4 m.

$500K. And your villa wouldn’t be built into the wall of Montalcino. Oh and stately manors in this area are well over €1M now…. Easy over that. Bit yeah it’s not for most people and time will tell on selling price.

Such a beautiful tower with a disappointing and disgusting "modern" interior. I dislike even those windows
