As I have an F13 M6 I have to say the M6 :) I'm running 325/30r20 Sport Cup 2s at the rear and I would strongly recommend them for any M6, or perhaps 305/30r20 if the stock wheels are kept.

Beautiful car. The steering wheels does a lot more than he mentioned though. Aside from all the temps, it can record your reaction times off the line, your 1/4 mile times, and a lot more!

Really enjoyed this video. I had it in my watch later list for a month as not a fan usually of the new M6 I like V10 M6 but si was pleasantly surprised I loved how moidfied it is. Are evolve good at tuning the the older V10 Bmw M6. PS love that alcantara steering wheel amazing!!!!!!! What's the 0-60 with the 800BHP and the smb clutch and what time in the quater mile? You also said your taking the car to Vmax 200 but these cars are limited to 190mhp did you derestrict it and if so who did it for you. Cheers 👊

Cars definately going to a Vmax, I’ll be there with David hopefully. As far as quarter mile he’s not done it yet or least we haven’t discussed it. Evolve tuned the car and removed any limitations. It should be upwards of 205 + now

I watch a lot of officially gassed and LLF they dont do a lot of M6 videos but plenty of M4 and M3s (some of the ideas are transferable to the M6 V10 especially body work) I'm speak to the tuning companies they recommend. Looking to get my MY M6 V10 to 600BHP are evolve a good fit not started my build yet but so far will be using 3 or 4 companies. Video was amazing by the way I've subscribed and I don't often do that.

Alex Walsh thank you really do appreciate the sub. It’s possible they could be. It wouldn’t take much to boost the V10 to well over 600bhp! Evolve are certainly specialists. As far as if they could I’ve not dealt with them personally so not 100% Maybe best to ping an email off or call them pal :)

@@CJK20 yeah will do all comes down to price. I saw a stage 1.5ish done by two separate companies and the total was £1,500 (cat deletes, resonator, map dyno) then another £500 for induction that gets you to around 560bhp or 570bhp but if there is more economical way I'm all ears thanks for the advice.

Just needs two more doors and it’ll be perfect

Absolutely insane 🔥 I have an M6 too and I'm pushing 700whp and what I know you can't pass more than that with a stage 2 with stock turbos i dont see you using methanol so please share how your pushing 800whp !! Thanks!!

Hi Tony, I was going to make a video in the next two or three weeks on all the cars I’ve owned, what I done to them etc. Future plans and what not. I’ll include as many videos as I have or have managed to get from people of my car etc. Expect most of it to be camera phone footage but you’ll get the message :)

Any concerns about the “hot V” turbo setup where the turbos are subjected to extreme heat due to locating them inside the V? I’ve heard concerns about turbo failure, but I’m unsure how common that has become?

They revised the engine in 2014 so anything 2015 and up you're good if you treat her right

Ud be surprised how quick the competition pack m6 is around s track, its a half way house handling wise inbetween the m5 and m4 so best of both worlds but the fastest of them all being lighter and lower then the m5

@@CJK20 the m6 is lighter lower and more aero dynamic but is a lot rarer, like the m8 its bmw's flagship model and the most expensive, the list on my competition pack was £122k, most people are happier with a 4 door m5 that costs £20k less and has the same engine and drivetrain and can fit a family its the same situation now with the m8 and f90 m5, i still havent seen an m8 on the road yet and im london. I however wanted a 2 door along side my 4 door f80 m3 and the m5 felt a bit to heavy to me with more body roll etc round bends so the comp m6 won it for me.

@@CJK20 Just odd- the gold calipers are the BMW factory paint for the carbon rotors- I've never seen gold on steel. The fact that he actually painted the blue calipers gold is interesting. I wonder why he did that?

Whilst I didn’t include it the video. He painted them yellow to stand out against the grey. It wasn’t to try give the impression of carbon rotors etc. So apologies if got that impression. He just likes Yellow :)

It’s more a case of what the stock block will take. It’s not that David couldn’t afford to do more he’s just prepped for the engine to blow before taking the plunge with the biggest bills.

My e46 would eat this and it sounds better
