I love how Snickers was marketed as an energy bar and described as almost healthy/good for you! LOL
I just want to say thanks for all these commercials you've spent so much time uploading. They bring back so many memories
Elliot Janeway is my spirit animal
yup, I always enjoyed the fact that Summerall did commercials for True Value, while John Madden did Ace commercials
Ernie Anderson is classic. "Next time on Starrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Trek, the next generation..."
TOnight i'm Yours was heard as background music in 1982 when a jukebox was displayed on Price is Right.
Yes, that's America for you. Randomly placed, pre-scheduled ads that have absolutely nothing to do with the content of a news update.
Hey, FYI, True Value voice over was Pat Summerall.
Fight Back! with David Horowitz!
That's Harry Groener in the C&C Cola commercial (The Mayor from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, among other things). Also, the places they named off in that Henry Weinhard's ad aren't places in California, they're places in Oregon that they go through on their way to California. Interestingly enough, one of the places they mentioned (Friend, with a population at the time of 33) is now a ghost town. Lotta good that beer did 'em, heh.
Fact: If you round .92 US cents, That's near one US dollar in the late 80s and early 90s, and about three US dollars in today's money, Real expensive if counting back then, and is still three US dollars today!
"Get to Know" (Renault): Chevrolet's Geo sub-brand used those three words in its slogan, too.
I have wondered why we never see any ads for motorcycles on the air?
Dan Gilvezan, voice of Transformers' Bumblebee and Spider-man and his Amazing Friends' Spiderman, in the Jack in the Box ad, unless I'm mistaken.
C&C Cola guy looks like Will Ferrel. Lol
David Paymer. He's been in tons of stuff.
FedMart went out of business in 1983.
"Cripple Children's Society"........ooooooookkkkkk

It's "Crippled Children's Society". I'm not sure why we have to routinely make certain words taboo just because some people use them as some sort of pejorative or slur. Somebody could just easily use a sensitivity-approved word like "handicapped" in a negative fashion.
6:46 Vincent Schiavelli???
i should probably figure out why fedmart ran out of buissness... .-.
....why wouldn't it work on a used car?
Don't waste YUUUUH money! Not the best voice there.
