The reason Muppet Babies was a cartoon and not puppets was because the 'Muppets Take Manhattan' Muppet Babies sequence was one of the most difficult to shoot because of how tiny the puppets were (the puppeteers had to literally stand underneath the floorboards to operate them), so doing a weekly TV series with those puppets wouldn't have been feasible. It was a practical decision rather than an artistic one.

The real reason was it was cheaper to animate them then it was to pay a team of puppeteers to produce a weekly show. Animation is one take, where puppets may require multiple takes. 1-3 animators plus 3 or so voice actors is way cheaper.

Regarding Skeeter: the character did appear in Muppet Kids, a series of books published later with the Muppets as grade schoolers. She also turned up in a few of the Muppets comic books and strips. Re: Beverly Hills Teens: That character (his name was Wilshire, BTW) wasn't Bianca's butler; he was actually a fellow student, rich as everybody else, who was in love with Bianca, to the point where he acted as her chauffer/servant just to be with her.

I grew up in the 90's, before Boomerang was even a thing. CN just started out showing nothing but old cartoons. I don't think they even started doing their own original stuff until the mid-late 90's. I just distinctly remember all day being Top Cat, Wacky Races, The Herculoids, Super Friends, and Huckleberry Hound.

I wanna say pup named scooby doo was one of the first shows that cartoon network syndicated for their channel in the early 90's. With Turner buying Hannah Barbera licenses that was I guess one of the more recent shows of the time (actually thought it was more of a 90's show but apparently it was late 80's and finished before it went over to CN)

I remember that cartoon too I think my favourite was Jackie’s big Sumo friend (and I think there was a episode that his Giant Sumo friend got cursed and turn into a Godzilla-like Monster that eat stuff like a Demonic Cookie Monster)

They didn't sing the Gummi Bears theme song! I love that one!

My, but that was fun, Andre's renditions of the themesongs and Tamara's imaginative (and incorrect) guesses as to what the shows were about had me in stitches! Tamara is so cute and adorable she could BE an 80s cartoon character; so funny and beautiful!!!

These two are VERY funny together! Their laughter is infectious!

Andre should make some covers of famous cartoon songs. I really enjoyed the Pup named Scooby Doo opening and background music, it even sounded kind of better than the original.

This was hilarious, Andre is basically a living version of RetroJunk! Also, Tamara had some awesome pitches that someone needs to produce ASAP!

Anyone else want Andre to cut an album with him singing 80s theme songs? No? Just me?

Easy fix. Start of with the Gummi Bear theme song when next you guys do this.

"I'm trrrrriggered" makes me think of Tony the Tiger as the mascot for Tumblr. "I'm not just triggered, I'm Trrrrrriggered!"

I've never seen this side of Tamra's personality before. I only know her character's she's played in NC. She's so funny & friendly irl. I'm really glad I clicked on this video. :)

I loved that show with all my heart, and there was actually one episode where Red Herring really was the monster! my jaw hit the floor on that one!

Andrea needs to make a cover album of all these shows for all to listen. With a band and back up singers

Muppet Babies should have had Middle Aged Statler and Waldorf as next door neighbors who grumpily poked their heads out a balcony window to complain at all the noise the kids were making.

This video was hilarious! I have seen Andre team up with a lot of people, but the energy and chemistry here was excellent. Some people simply work well together. Great video.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mario Lopez were on Kids Incorporated. lol

This made me laugh and feel old at the same time.
