8 Upcoming 5th Generation Fighter Jets Of The World

Video description: Parallel advances in materials, engine technology and electronics were making such a machine possible. From the start of the new millennium, advanced systems concepts such as smart helmets, sensor/data fusion and subsidiary attack drones were becoming realities. Bringing together and integrating such advances, along with those of the fourth generation, created what has become known as the fifth generation of fighters. The first of these is generally acknowledged to be the Lockheed Martin F-22. Subsequent types include the Lockheed Martin F-35 and Sukhoi Su-57. There are many countries like India, China, Russia, Japan, Turkey, Sweden are trying to build 5th Generation Fighter Aircrafts. This video presents the 8 upcoming 5th Generation Fighter Jets.
Enjoy watching. Cheers!

Also building battle proven drones is a basic necessity for building the 6th gen fighter jet of the future, so Turkiye will have thousands if not millions of hours under its AI belt before 5th gen is actually at work in 2028-30 and with that can jump classes either with wingmen or completely unmanned.

When Russian say its next gen then its really Next gen for its price. Also there can be huge modernisation for some plane but little possible, in 2030+ will be released many new tech and i thing it can be full step to 5 gen and descreasing of 4 gen planes and some promo for 6 gen. 6 gen .i thing may be not old chemical engine conception but electrical or some new physical principle.

They can't even put the SU-57 into production so what makes you think they can make the SU-75? India pulled out of the partnership for the SU-57 because it wasn't as good as Russia claimed it was. It was an over price 4th gen jet that they tried to sell as a 5th gen. The SU-57 stealth isn't as good as russia claimed it to be and they also used old engine technology for the plane, which is 2 of the reasons why India pulled out of the SU-57 partnership for

    Technically speaking, Japan's experimental aircraft X-2 was a perfectly failed one because Japan's central govt has developed that flight machine to aim for the USA's newest jet fighters and its related technologies. That being said, Japan wanted to develop its domestic aircraft based on America's aircraft technology but the US federal govt rejected that. So Japan developed the experimental aircraft to show off its high-end technical skills against the US govt, which means the island nation wanted to inform they make its intrinsic aircraft without America's technical support. However, the US govt and its weapon makers didn't show some positive attitude over that, so Japan's aircraft project was derailed unexpectedly. Practically, the flight machine does not have internal space for missile launching and also does not have other newest electronic equipment to prove it is a stealth fighter at the time. As a result, Japan's govt had to buy over 100 F-35 stealth fighters from the US defense company Lockheed Martin instead.

  • @faisalabdulaziz6956

    @faisalabdulaziz6956

    2 жыл бұрын

    no, technically they didn't fail, on the contrary they have successfully tested some of the technology in the X-2. Besides buying the F-35, they also continue to develop the next generation of domestic aircraft technology to be applied to the F-3 fighter. Japan’s Technical Research and Development Institute has already been independently studying stealth technology. Denied access to U.S. testing facilities, it shipped a stealth jet mockup to France for radar cross section testing in 2005. Eleven years later, the Japanese firm Mitsubishi unveiled the Advanced Technical-Demonstrator (AT-D), also known as the X-2. The stealth aircraft program has cost Japan over $360 million to date, and involves 220 sub-contractors. 90 percent of the AT-D’s parts were manufactured domestically. The diminutive X-2 measures only fourteen meters long and has a wingspan of nine meters. This small size is possible because, as a demonstrator, the X-2 isn’t designed to carry any weapons and weighs only 10.5 tons (or 14.4 fully loaded). By comparison, even the light F-16 fighter weighs 18,900 pounds empty. Instead of using radar-absorbent coatings, the Shinshin is made out of nonreflective silicon carbide and ceramic, and even its bubble canopy is made out of a special tin alloy. Furthermore, its surface uses a mixture of sawtooth edges, chines and irregular curves to reduce radar reflectivity; its tail fins are also canted outwards at a steep angle. A Japanese defense official claimed in an interview that Shinshin “‘looks no bigger than a giant beetle viewed from ten kilometers away.” This echoes statements from the U.S. military that the F-35 has the radar cross section (RCS) of a golf ball, and the Raptor, that of a bumblebee. However, some military observers are less optimistic about the X-2’s RCS, and believe it to have more intermediate-level stealth capabilities comparable to the Chinese J-20-particularly due to the configuration of its vector-thrust engines. The jet’s two IHI XF5-1 ( now they have tested the XF9-1 engine ) low-bypass turbofans are the first Japanese-made jet engines equipped with afterburners, and are built out of a mixture of heat-resistant ceramic matrix composite and titanium aluminide alloy. The exhaust nozzle of each engine is equipped with three paddles that allow it redirect thrust three-dimensionally (both vertically and horizontally), enabling the X-2 to pull off exceptionally tight maneuvers. A production aircraft fighter replace the paddles with moving exhaust nozzles to reduce the radar cross section. Though the engines on the X-2 individually only produce 5,500 pounds of thrust each, due to the X-2’s light weight, they are still sufficient to boost the aircraft to over twice the speed of sound-or sustain supersonic flight without the use of afterburners, a capability known as super-cruise. The Shinshin also reportedly integrated other Japanese-developed technologies. Modern jet fighters use ‘fly-by-wire’ control systems rather than hydraulics-and Mitsubishi has gone one step better by using fiber-optics, which transmit data more rapidly and would be resistant to electromagnetic attacks. The X-2 also reportedly boasts ‘a Self-Repairing’ control system which detects damage to the aircraft’s control surfaces (elevators, stabilizers, etc.) and automatically adjusts the aircraft’s handling to compensate.

    The Japanese nor the South Koreans don't class their aircraft Mitsubishi M-X2 Shin Shin and the KF-21 fighters as a 5th gen, because the X2 Shin Shin is a test aircraft fir testing stealth characteristics ajs new technologies, and the KF-21 is classed as a 4.5+ Gen with stealthy characteristics, low observability as well as composite materials and radar absorbing paint and under skin technology like bubbles that's scatter radar reflections with the material, also it will be using technology that's being created/developed for a 6th Gen fighter concept. The Mitsubishi X-2 Shinshin is a Japanese experimental aircraft for testing advanced stealth fighter aircraft technologies. It is being developed by the Japanese Ministry of Defense Technical Research and Development Institute for research purposes. The main contractor of the project is Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The KAI KF-21 Boramae (formerly known as KF-X) is a South Korean 4.5 generation fighter aircraft development program, with limited Indonesian involvement, with the goal of producing an advanced multirole fighter for the South Korean and Indonesian air forces.

    In the Korean KAI KF-21 section, it is included an Indonesian flag and mentioned Indonesian Air Force as the primary user? I didn't know Indonesia has involvement in the development of KF21? What is the role? Investor? the primary buyer and user beside Republic of Korea Air Force? But in late January 2022 Indonesia Ministry of Defence has announced that they will buy 42 units Dassault Rafale for Air Force (along with a number of French Scorpene Submarines for Navy), and furthermore US Congress has sanctioned the sale of 36 units F-15 EX Super Eagle. So Indonesian Air Force would have around 78 new fighter jets until the next decade. So what's the significance in Indonesia involvement in the development of KF-21?
