    B.S. about the Sig P-210 carry. I've put hundreds of rounds through mine with not a single malfunction, and it's the most accurate pistol I own. Yes, it's expensive, but I recently saw it at Bud's Gun Shop for a little over $1K (which doesn't make me happy). Its limited capacity could be an issue but makes it slim enough for me to carry comfortably and conceal OWB, though it's still heavy, and ever tried to load a double stack mag without a speed loader? I'm no wimp, but that's impossible for me. I love it, and no one can convince me otherwise.

    People always whine when you don't praise "what they own". Hey, there are good & bad in all of them. Just because I own something doesn't make it the best. Duh. What works for you works - Period. I have to agree with what you said about Hi-Points. Very rugged, reliable & accurate. I was disappointed with your Remington pistol results but hey, these are your honest results. Big Buck$ doesn't instantly mean "best". I personally have seen very positive & very negative points & performance from many different brands, models & calibers. If real world results hurts someone's feelings they need to stop watching evaluations & grow up. I appreciate your efforts, thank you.

    It is hard to understand why the SIG P210C is on your list... Both of mine have been flawless, accurate and extremely reliable. Neither of mine have had any malfunctions in the six or so months I have had them. Single stack magazine? Yep, but that is a choice not a defect. Eight plus one is plenty of ammunition for me... I carried a five shot revolver for years and was quite comfortable with that... The SIG 210C has almost twice the capacity of the Chief Special and 50% more rounds on board than my much loved S&W M-19s. If you need more capacity get a P228 or P229... But you will not have nearly as nice a gun. This gun is also the smoothest out of the box gun I have ever seen... The slide is so smooth you would think it runs on ball bearings and the trigger is all anyone could want. This is an outstanding gun...

    Agree. My 210C is my EDC and operates as advertised and designed. You’ll be hard pressed to find another top quality firearm with this accuracy and trigger pull out the box. The 210 doesn’t even fit in with the other guns on this review. Odd that it is on this list.

    The early 2023 recall is old news, and impacted only a small number of Taurus GX4s. I own two of them, and neither were on the recall list, and furthermore neither have experienced a FTF or any issue of any kind, 100% reliable. I trust them as my EDC. Including this fine firearm on the list due to a minor recall of a small number is stupid, idiotic.

  • @r.b.rozier9692

    @r.b.rozier9692

    Was the recall more than zero? Yes. Not a small number when it comes to something that shouldn't leave the factory to go to consumers in any condition less than perfect from an engineering standpoint. The recall was not due to something small, but a major safety issue. Of course, in 34 years of using firearms, I have never dropped one, not sure why or how anyone would, but I am certain it happens or no one would even know about this flaw for there to be a recall.

    I've owned 3 Taurus and in my experience they are the most reliable of any of the cheaper guns I've owned. Many years ago they were known to be unreliable but this has definitely changed. My gc3 had only one malfunction in 1500 rpunds. My friends Sig 365 is pretty unreliable but this could be a fluke. Obviously sccy, highpoint, and Remington R lines are known for unreliability but I don't have experience with them personally. My Ruger lcp 22 is pretty bad but both my sp101s and my Ruger 556 are extremely reliable. Their revolvers are in my opinion the best out there

Sent back 3 times, and still does the same, plus on one the sights fell off, the pins kept working out, the takedown pin would work out..... I have been out of the shooting world for quite a while (25 yrs!), but I used to have a number of pistols that would pass my simple reliability test - namely 1000 rounds of what it liked with no malfunctions and no cleaning. I notice that most of the guns quoted are 9mm which surprises me. My two 9mm pistols were a 1915 and a 1921 DWM P0 8 (Luger) both were 100% reliable up to 1000 rounds without cleaning. Cases were normal Winchester, bullets were 121grn RN, 124 Cone point and 150 SWC (yes Semi Wadcutters).Powder was Vhit N340 and what ever primewrs were available. I also tested these three loads through a Vis/35 and an MP40, functioned perfectly. So why after over 100 years have they made the 9mm semi auto so unreliable??

    Your #1 does not make sense considering the video title says "unreliable pistols". The P210 line of pistols are well made, very reliable, accurate and expensive. The Carry P210 is no exception. The P210 series is not even in the same ballpark as the other 7 handguns mentioned since they do most things poorly where a P210 does not.

    I own Glocks, the 365, the 365 XL and a few other Micro 9's. The GX4 was my first Taurus in my many decades as a shooting enthusiast. The gun has seen a lot of ammo and totally reliable, so much I bought a second one and love it as well. I prefer it over my Sig and Glocks. Great shooter and feels so good in my hand, light recoil. Yes, my first one did have the recall. Taurus had it back in 14 days. I am also a range officer at my club. See many of them and folks love em. I highly recommend them, One of the best deals in the shooting world. Like Gun-Test mag judged it BEST BUY. I agree.
