8 Types of People To Completely Avoid

Have you had to deal with some difficult people in your life? Did they put a certain type of strain on your relationship? While it’s true that no one is perfect, and everyone has their good traits and their flaws, there are some types of people that can cause you more harm than good. It might be best to avoid them for your own well-being and happiness. If you find yourself described in this video, that's okay! Sometimes, we got to work on ourselves and that starts with being self-aware, self-accepting, and knowing that growth is possible.

I’ve had similar experiences. I honestly just have a dark corner where I just sit down and cry for hours on end. If you have a desk or a cupboard of any sort, then just hide in the cupboard/under the desk and let it all out. Nobody knows about it, and it’s usually quite comfy. Especially if you keep a small throw pillow there.

It’s gotta be more than one and if the signs are severe. I mean, for example, with the first one, obviously everyone would want to compete. But it’s super toxic if someone doesn’t even see you as a friend and only puts you down, not caring at all how you feel. That’s not normal competition, that’s just toxic.

harmonixia uwu Oh c’mon now. There are wonderful gems in the world. You just have to learn that you don’t have to be everyone’s friend, and grow enough to know what you want and don’t want in your life. Then, the toxic people stop appearing, or at least you recognize who they really are before they cause damage. Learned these things the hard way, but now I can spot manipulators and am able to deflect. Sometimes the best weapon is silence.

I bottle up a lot cz I know i am number 5.. i have been dealing with depression, self-harming, anxiety, suicidal thoughts since i was a kid, without even knowing what was it.. growing up in an asian household, they don't believe that mental illness exist and especially for a kid. being scolded for showing my emotions, i learn to hide my emotions really well as that's how it's been since i was kid. my cousin sister was the only person that sensed my struggles alone (a year ago), offered help. it was nice to talk to someone about it, to open up. but once (i guess i didn't realize that I was being number 5), she snapped at me for being annoying (guess she was stressed at work). I never felt hurt that much in my life. I always have this guilty feeling of being a burden to others. since then i tend to bottle up a lot. Sorry for this long text. Have a great day people!

Damn #3 called me out! I can admit that I'm self-centered, I do talk about myself a lot and often don't realize it. However, I think being self-centered is different from being selfish though. Self-centeredness is defined as "being preoccupied with one's own affairs" while being selfish is "lacking consideration of others for one's own pleasure or gain." I can understand what they mean in the context of the video. I think what they're trying to say is avoid people who are selfish. Sometimes people that are self-centered can empathize more because they can put themselves in that situation and see how other people feel since they know how it would feel if they were in that situation. There's a fine line between selfishness and self-centeredness, which I've tried to figure out for myself for years so I don't act like a selfish person and hurt other people.

I think its important to mention that some of those listed types/behaviors can also be easily misinterpreted tho and that it's almost always a good idea trying to speak up and talk about those things first. Otherwise you yourself count into the "judgmental" toxic category. for example: Someone who seems self-centered at first glance could very possible be just be a person who is depressed introvert who hasn't been able to talk/open up to anyone for quite some time - enjoying to seemingly having found a trustworthy person they feel comfortable enough around to finally let out all those pent-up thoughts and feelings which very likely evolve around the own self at first. Or someone who seems self-destructive is maybe just not able to break out of certain unhealthy patterns on their own and needs some extra help by professionals while you as true friend can help by simply letting them know that you will have their back - instead of trying to fix them and their lives for them. Not everything is always what it seems.

Alright So, I am a furry. I remember telling my friend then she glared at me like something was wrong and just said, “ew.” I tried explaining the fandom to her but she won’t listen, that day I just- broke. While i was trying to feel better, she told other people in our school then i started getting pain physically, and mentally. I felt attacked because of something I like and I just didn’t know why.. I was so kind to everyone and sometimes i’d do their homework so they could “take a break” a week later, 75% of my class was talking about me, so i decided to tell a teacher- it was the least i could do. And you guessed it, they did NOTHING but say “you’re in 9th grade you can handle it, it’s okay.” and I’m like: “bi-“ But, moving on. I had thoughts of suicide and tried moving them aside because i thought about my family and how much they cared about me. I told them i am a furry, and they started supporting me and motivating me, i also told them what happened at school so, we moved to another and i got a therapist I’m a healthy and happy person now, the end! (still a furry uwu)

Itachi Uchiha don’t be a pleaser. You can’t please everyone. Only a few people really need help, so don’t offer to help everyone. Most people will think you are just doing it to get friends and they’ll think you’re strange and say that you need friends so badly ..... The world of school is cruel. Also make sure you know your friends well. The one who just betrayed about being a “furry” (sounds nice but a bit childish in the end) sounds pretty toxic if she was meant to be a close friend. So don’t try to be nice to everyone. You might find you are on your own, but I can assure you you’ll find it easier to meet the right kind of people when you’re more honestly being yourself.

Thank you for that video! I actually started to sort out some of my "friends", where I realised that they were toxic for me or didn't treat me the right way. Now after a while I feel mich better after that. 😃 I am more secure around my real friends and have less drama which is quite nice actually. 😄 I wish everyone who reads this a nice day and keep on going, even if it's hard sometimes with those kind of people. You will find a way! 😊

I personally do like to listen to drama but not to get involved in it. Getting involved just makes it worse. But I do have a habit of talking about myself sometimes so I'll definitely make sure to listen to myself when I talk and make sure that everyone is able to talk in the conversation. These videos are always super cool to listen to! Thank you for letting me know about my own strengths and weakness!

I have this friend who always wants me to do everything for her, one time, she wants to join my school-club, and I said "Oh sure, you wanna join? Ask the teacher because I don't know anything about it" And she said "I can't...can you do that for me?" I already said no, but she was so "lazy" to do it all, she said "This is the last one" because I always do everything for her...I asked the teacher, and he said "Oh, She can join, just make sure she doesn't be late for class." So I told my friends about the information, since I didn't give her contact number to my teacher because It's her privacy (We use WhatsApp) so I just told her to give it to the teacher herself, and She said "But I can't...Can you do this for me? Oh come ooonnn, just this one timeeee." I've had enough of her and said "You must go there by yourself, I'm not always gonna be there for you." And the most annoying thing she said to me that day was "Actually...I'm too lazy." She said that so casually! I already told the teacher, there's no going back, moreover, that teacher is scary! If she doesn't go to the class, I'd be the one who is going to be shout at. She said "What should I dooooo?" And I told her what to say, She just had to copy & paste it, "But I caaaann't, I'm too lazy! Can you do this for me?" I was so mad! "ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS COPY & PASTE IT! I'VE ALREADY DONE THE THINGS FOR YOU!" And luckily, she told the teacher and joined my school-club. I know I should confront her, or just be friends with other people...but the thing is, she's my bff's bff. What should I do?! I can't just leave her alone with my BFF! And sorry for my bad English

I Exist Because it is a stupid and useless act to claim almost ownership by stating you are first to watch a KZread video. It is silly and immature. It’s not like they were the first to climb Mount Everest. And even then ,it’s just a mountain. It’s not like world peace was achieved, or hunger and poverty eradicated by the act. When someone does that, they can brag all they like. But I suspect that individual would be more humble.

A true friend or two would be enough, since sometimes, you need outlet of your problems as well: someone who will listen to you, not to judge you, someone who's willing to involve themselves when you have problems, someone who supports your goals and encourages you, someone that makes you feel warmth when they're around, and someone who you can count on. I'm glad that I've experienced having one, but he passed away at his young age. I really am hoping I will find another one that I could give my trust, with them taking care of it atleast. 🙂

They said that I didn’t even look at my own actions while they’re the ones who did do so..:(

I also have friend who is self destructive.. She only complains about everything and always pessimistic nature.. She has no ambition, hobbies or interest on anything.. And i give her suggestions, reccomrndation but she never do what i said her to do...If i says anything which she doesn't like or if i don't listen to her then she plays victim card..And She complains about her life, her friends, her crush who friendzoned her. And actually i was always like sponge who can takes negative things and radiates positivity...i convinced her so many times gave her best advices, helped her, talked to her almost for hours to motivate, inspired her but nope she again complains about everything..But after hearing her same sad, depressing stories i started feeling sad and exhausted now.. I was never like that before.. Then i told her that i started feeling sad, because of her and she is disturbing me.. And she said she was hurt that i said that.. I mean what i meant to do? Yeah i did everything to fix her but it didn't worked..And i decided to talk less, ignore her & completely focus on myself..Now she thinks that i showed my true colors, i changed... She forgot that i also have life.. I also got feelings.. I also gets hurt.. I am human.. Trying to make everyone happy, trying to fix everyone's life, being nice helpful, i left myself far behind.. Now i need to move on from negative people & start working on my own life..
