    What’s been left out of this video (and is truly hilarious) is what the man who shot the SECOND guy who broke into his house said to the news. He said something to the effect of, “If they want to keep breaking into my house, I’ll keep defending myself. There’s plenty more spots in Crown Hill…” Crown Hill is the largest cemetery in the state and happens to be a very short distance from his house. 😂

    @davidskala7652

    @sleonheart4106 how is your knife and machete violence going? Evil people will still commit their killing no matter what laws are in place and with whatever is at hand to use, the actual most used weapons in murder in the United States is actually blunt objects like hammers and baseball bat's or crowbars. We don't ban those tho do we, instead we have had firearms interwoven into our history of our country since the beginning to protect ourselves and our family and country. You have never had that so to say it's as easy as not having it to stop them from happening will never happen. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube if you outlaw guns in a country that has such a strong culture of firearms only law abiding citizens will turn them in, that leaves us citizens defenseless to criminals who don't abide by the laws to begin with who obviously won't turn their firearms in. On top of that the Supreme Court has already ruled that the police here in the United States are not required to actually protect you in any capacity, so it's up to you to protect yourself and your family. The constitution starts with the bill of rights, not rights given to you from the government but restrictions on the government to keep the government from turning on its own people. In a working society the people should not fear their government, the government should fear the people they are working for to keep everything on the level and to strive for making things better for their people.

    @@sleonheart4106 Simple. You're a small enough of a country to keep proper tabs on your own people. You don't have chinese funded cartels running the countries south of you. You're not considered a big enough of a threat, for most of the world to take you seriously. In turn you are left alone for the most part. The US federal government has other issues to deal with. So, our people at home, suffer, at the expense of keeping tabs on literally every breathing creature across THE OPPOSITE HEMISPHERE, so that it doesn't have foreign attackers every 5 minutes to deal with. However to answer you directly, it's cause your people have mental health sorted out, and people are taught how to be good people. In the US both of those are failed categories. It's not because you don't have guns for your civilians that you see less crime, but because your people don't commit many crimes in the first place. But, now you're starting to taste a similar thing that the US has. You have "refugees" flooding in from the middle east, spouting muslim bullshit as if it were the good word. Whilst forgetting that the Muslims brought the crusades upon themselves, by ransacking and then occupying tens of not hundreds of European Christian cities and nations...

    All my brother had to do was stand around the corner of the door frame and do the "chi-chi" thing (I know nothing about guns, lol) with his shot gun and the intruder took off, leaving 1/2 his stuff inside and the other 1/2 outside. This btw, wasn't the first break- in he'd suffered.

    That’s what scares me most. The one where the nice neighborhood had someone shoot an intruder and they all say “time to hit the range and get real familiar with our firearms” well why are you not ALREADY really familiar with your firearm? Scary knowing how many people are untrained. We have China teaching kids how to shoot, manipulate, disassemble and clean rifles, pistols, rocket launchers and mortars in elementary school. Not saying we should be teaching these things in elementary school but I remember a time when “shooting” was part of hun class. Both 22lr as well as bow and arrow. Now we’re so focused on “feelings” and coping and adapting for kids who have mental illnesses. Just saying at some point you should be teaching your children how to handle, maintain and shoot safely. This takes all their “curiosity” out and you don’t have accidents but it’s a shame we have grown adults in America who don’t know how to safely operate, handle or fire a firearm.

    Since I live in the 'People's Demokratic Republik of Washington State', I'm left speechless when i see law enforcement describe the victims in these cases as "Good Samaritan" or "...gun she lawfully purchased". Here, the criminals are the victim, while the true victims "take the law into their own hands". Also, every gun involved in a shooting is an AK-47.

Woman sleeping wakes up to intruder attacking her in her room, and her first thought is to call 911, and then remembers she has a gun, giving the intruder a lot of time to get the upper hand. This is a double-edged sword. I am proud to be an American with my amendments. Rights My firearms range from feeding my family to protecting my neighbors in my family and self. I hope that I never have to do this. But I'm glad then I am able to. It's sad that this is what our world is coming too I hope we never lose the ability to defend ourselves or those who are not able to.

    I remember reading about a WW2 soldier who was allowed to buy his Garand for 10.00 at discharge. He was a regular at the range, even in his 70's. His apartment was broken into, he was tossed into a closet while the gang ransacked his home. He heard the leader say they ought to kill the witness, they opened the closet door, the old vet had a full clip and one in the chamber. as luck would have it, the first one he shot dead was the one with the car keys, the next one was shot dead coming for him. The third was not killed, but took time to fix his chest damage. In total, out of the five who came in three were ended by a WW2 sharpshooter and the ones not shot were trying to get away without the car or the loot OH, WEL:L:. This was in NJ, the old man had been an instructor for the police, they looked at the old guy, the old gun and no charges were filed for him protecting his home. He did not even empty the clip. the robbers got significant time to think about it, with over 100 letters to the judge commending the citizen for knowing who to shoot and when to stop. he still had 3 shells left. Never mess with a soldier who can keep focus under fire.

    Here in NZ the good Samaritan in the 1st scenario would have been arrested and charged... not with shooting the bad guy probably (that's allowed in law), but with being ABLE to access his firearm in time..... nuts.
