@@phillips.collectibles it’s honestly more about quality for me. Some of the large KZreadrs don’t always give accurate takes on topics. You bring a wide variety and your ideas have logic rather than guesswork.

I’ve been collecting (revisiting as a grown adult haha) pokemon tcg since last August. When I first opened Obsidian Flames, without knowing which cards were of high value, I was extremely drawn to the illustration Rares, specifically little baby Cleffa! And since I’ve collected and studied more, I do feel sometimes I do forget how simple the enjoyment of card collecting is. If we just ignore the value of the cards and just let the cards speak for themselves! That being said, my standout illustration rare is definitely the Loudred IR from Paradox rift. I pulled that out of a pack and just stared at it for literal minutes, admiring the card!

I got into collecting Pokemon cards in January this year and watched your videos since then and literally thought you had like 1 mil subscribers lol you sound really professional and your videos are very informative! Greetings from Switzerland🇨🇭

The Ninetales from obsidian flames is one of my most fav cards that i have pulled and i remember when i went to check its price i was rlly surprised on how underrated it was.

Lots of sleepers in Obsidian Flames. The Pidgey line and the Cleffa stand out as the current steals, but I would also put the Gloom card in there. Haven't seen the Ninetails go for much less than $15-20 AUD though.

My grandma passed on a couple of months ago and i welled up after seeing the sleeping mew card. Reminded me of how serenely she passed on in her final moments to be with the Lord. The card looks eeriely similar to a funeral setting, but it goes to show how good the artwork is in these new sets. Thanks for highlighting this card. Gonna go grab a few now.

You should do a video on cards that are 15 or 20 dollars would really see what cards you choose for that price point

I pulled the nine tales and cleffa from my first booster box (I bought a random one from Amazon). Glad to see they’re on this list

Agreed, they so pretty! Too bad we cant see the holo effect on the scans. Have a few of them and they even look more stunning in your hands.

Very enjoyable video! It's a good contrast to videos that have their base on set based market data, which I enjoy as well. I do wanna leave a little content idea as well. It could be very interesting to hear your perspective of how the switch from yellow to silver border in general is changing the view and joy of people being involved in the hobby.
