Josh Anderson’s contract has to be one of the worse in NHL history at this point, along multiple other ones in the same era made by Bergevin like the Gallagher contract, Prices and Drouin’s, but let’s get back to Anderson. Before joining MTL the guy only ever scored over 20 goals once, on a beyond stacked CBJ team ... it seems the organization assumed he could do the same in MTL alongside powerhouses like Drouin, Suzuki, Tatar, Danault and Toffoli. Since then Anderson scored over 20 once, never had over 0.500 pts/game, got injured nearly every season for about the same production of just under 20 goals and around 30 pts in total (which seems to be his career typical production), but this year he scored way under half his usual rate despite not missing many games. 5.5 aav for 7 years (38.5), he’s got one hell of an agent.

Josh Anderson SUCKED this season and he kinda sucks anyway I know he’s a NHL player and no NHL player sucks but he is not good for a NHL player. imo a massive contract and a massive overpayment for a third-fourth liner at this point

I like it, he put the work in to get a job after being canned in 2017 and did a really good job with their AHL team.

Shocked about Conor Sheary, he was so good in Washington

rakell basically didn’t have a working shoulder or wrist (forget which one) this season which probably caused it but i do expect a very solid bounce back

SJ fan here.. if Schenn and Rackell were down to 2 years remaing I'd take each with a 2nd or 3rd. To eat 4 years though I think I'd want a 1st but I can't see either team doing that with where they are.

For the playoffs maybe but dude is still elite just was hurt in the backhalf!

Matthews fell off pretty hard during the playoffs, It's unacceptable for the Rocket winner to only score once in the playoffs in a year where he almost scored 70, That the second time he's won the Rocket and only went on to score once come playoff time, He's a bust.
