after i R8'd CLS, i couldnt get chewies protection on CLS anymore, just couldnt get him to be the "weakest teammate" anymore. have to keep r7 or it screws it

Interesting list. The hondo thing, i disagree about changing dash because of that; if hondo removes 20 tm at the start of the battle, he essentially removes nothing for tm as everyone else will be at 0tm. As for tanks, r8 helps sure, but im in the r7 or r9 party for those. Another note, lots of these toons can be good enough with actual good mods, and relics obviously enhance this, but arent always necessary

I understand you and everything you're saying, but it is VERY hard to listen to what youre saying if you arent practicing what you preach. i get it, with time you will, but so will most smart players.

I strongly disagree with your opinion on req characters. If you’re afraid to relic your characters to the proper level then why bother farming them in the first place. Can’t relic 9 jml? Don’t farm him. Can’t relic 8 SK or Rey? Don’t farm them. If you don’t have the mentality to take your investments to the point where you actually get diminishing returns then you are wasting them. R7 jml will struggle in a lot of scenarios. I.e. R9 jml kills LV without cal now you can say I’m not gonna r9 jml because I need another unlock so then you have to throw cal on the team who is probably r3-r7 and now instead of finishing your GL you are using a character that costs 2k plus kyro, tons of bronzium, tons of signal data, an entire mod set etc. R8 SK kills jabba. I don’t see a lot of my friends with r8 SK but then again they aren’t able to capitalize of the versatility mine has. I didn’t get my first r9 until recently but I didn’t farm a single character that wasn’t adequate and capable at their respective levels. SK r8, Rey R8, Han r8 etc. r8 is accessible to every player even without a good guild. if you aren’t maximizing your roster then your investments turn into liabilities, especially in TW where clans always sand bag and have insanely high relics and crons on defense. My number one bottleneck is zeta mats. My opponents have 200-300 zetas while I have 70 so farming more characters who need more zetas is counterintuitive to giving them more relics. Btw I’m 6 mil GP with 3200 skill rating.

my all gls are relic 7 and does fine lmao. My mentality is if it works why the hell i would overinvest. My relic 7 gls does fine in all areas, why would i take them higher just for the sake of it. Saying JML is not worth taking if its not instant relic 9 its just a lie. GL is a GL, no matter what and throwing jml to trash just bc he is not relic 9 is the stupidiest thing i ever heard. Look at Phil's acc: he is in kyber 2/1 and just recently relic 9 jml. he did fine wihout relic 8 or 9 GLs.

No way, my JML is r7 and can beat every GL with the right comp. The time it would take to farm JML to r9 just to make it easier is better spent investing towards an entirely new GL. I would rather have 3 r7 GLs than 2 r9 GLs
