8 Brocades Qi Gong - For Health and Healing

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

The 8 Brocades (also called Baduanjin) is one of my favourite qi gong routines, and is also on of the most commonly practiced qi gong routines in the world.
I love this routine as it feels great in the body, and works on a number of different organs and meridians - a full body chi workout!! You can really feel the healing benefits during and after the practice.
There are a lot of different variations in this routine and it is taught a little differently by each teacher. In this video I combine the variations that feel most healing from my personal practice.
The 8 brocades have different names in different styles of qi gong, but the names I use here are:
1. Two hands hold up the heavens (to regulate the Triple Burner)
2. Drawing the bow to shoot the bird of prey (lungs and liver)
3. Separating heaven and earth (stomach and spleen)
4. The wise owl gazes backwards (neck and eyes)
5. Shake the head and swing the tail (expel the heartfire)
6. Massage the kidneys and reach for the feet (kidneys)
7. Punching with a strong gaze (to improve strength and gathering qi)
8. Bouncing on the heels (settling the qi to help cure and prevent illness)
Enjoy!🙏🙏🙏
