I agree, I needed the straight forward writing in Way of Kings because I was so confused and felt dumb or like I was missing something

I remember thinking I understood things on my first read, and it's not like I did terribly or anything, but on this re-read I was like.... oh yeah there is so much here that went right over my head!!

The Way of Kings, Frankenstein, The Trouble with Peace... Nothing short of bangers this month!

Thanks for the video! I too recently read The Troop and also a little afraid of the content of the book, It actually turned out to not be so bad in the end! It did definitely have some skin crawling moments that made me cringe as a read through. I have Frankenstein on my list to read this month! I hope I enjoy it. I am a newbie to "reading for fun" so I'm still trying to figure out what I like in a book

Trouble with Peace is 🔥Favorite First Law book probably, although Wisdom of Crowds is close.

Love to hear that the WoK reread was such a hit! And dang, I really need to get back to Abercrombie... Red Country next and then hopefully bingeing the final trilogy! Also, I love hearing your thoughts on the SPFBO books. The Fall Is All There Is definitely worked a lot better for me than it did for you, but I can totally see why you bounced off it. I was just all here for the chaos hahah. And Last Ranger... I have to say it has gone down in my rating the longer I am away from it, oops 👀 Great wrap-up, I hope March treats you well 🥰

The Fall Is All There Is was definitely entertaining for its chaos haha, I will give it that! Yeah The Last Ranger hasn't been overly memorable, honestly, after waiting an entire month to review it
