If China with higher population has a permanent UN security council Seat,Why India with a higher population not been given a permanent seat in the UN Security Council ,Why is there inequality??? India has given International Yoga Day to the World for Mankind's benefit ,When India cares for the Entire World & Stands for World Peace,India should also get a Permanent Seat in the United Nations Security Council.

My question is why would - UNFPA 🇺🇳 matters? did they move the bar ANYWHERE? a nice retirement from ineffective leadership would help. Its like when the Police or President complains about high crime 🤦 "what did society put you in that position for?" Ethiopia’s Somali region The great thing about Africa: its big.. and walk-able. all 4 Hemisphere is inside of it. 260,000 women have options. - UNFPA 🇺🇳 was not around when their ancestor walk the land. There are 4 near by countries that can help. Uganda is #1 place for refugees . economic and in this case "CLIMATE" refugees. ✍you have to be logical in your thinking. MAJOR metropolitan areas are in short distance away with none of their drought issues. Addis Ababa 🌍Ethiopians are paying top dollar to go 'glam camping' and Mogadishu is inthe massive economic building growth. the handicap is NGOs and UN special section that bring cameras in w/ no solutions + block organic help from near by. your post reminds me of their energy.

why not answer it empirically? Since keeping on increasing makes almost everything (polution, Climate Change, suicide, depression, price of land and housing, dwindling resources, inequality), worse, try decreasing until most things are better. Of course there are other variables...But assuming those don't change too much, this seems like a good approach. Except most people who are already having more than 2 babies per couple won't do it. Why? Moloch. So any policy question flounders on Moloch and that is what we need to address before anything else. How to change the Molochian dynamics of our civilization.

More people, more fossil fuels, faster global warming, the sooner global food production declines, the harder the population will collapse. This is madness.

Yes!

I think 4 billion ideas of people who had the chance to gain education, have access to clean freshwater and sufficient food and lead their lives in relative safety from conflicts and pandemics are worth so much more than 8 billion ideas of people, most of which are not as priviledged. I believe that the reduction of the global human population through a decrease of birth rates is key to the most essential concerns of our time and the future. While this will take generations and could well be mankind's most difficult task to achieve, it's all the more important to start implementing this now. It's striking how little discussion there is about this concern.

Sharing will save the world.
