For me.....the B1-B, the B-2, the SU-57 and the Raptor! The Nighthawk is a curious one - an extraordinary design and does what it says on the box - but I’m much more moved by the ‘feminine’ lines most other aircraft use to achieve slicing through the passage of air!

Lockhead f22 raptor is the top aircraft. It is the only aircraft US pentagon refuses to sell or supply any other countries even to it's closest ally.

The B2’s development started in 1979, and we didn’t know about it until the first gulf war in 1990 so the American planes are just the ones that are public! My guess is we have technology and planes/weapons that are secret and would blow our minds!

@@tysteinebach8320 We are not behind anybody in anything. What makes you think that? You can believe that we have stuff that nobody knows about that makes the F-22 look like a F-86. Hypersonic weapons, hahahah we have that and have had that for a while plus the means to take them down. We have hypersonic aircraft. Weapons hahahah big deal. There is stuff that would blown your mind. That is why the Soviet Union is no more. Russia knows this and so does China. Neither would dare go to war with us. They both talk the talk but neither could walk the walk with us. It's there believe me.

My fave is the B-2 Spirit and one not shown here also that was beat out by the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor and that one of only two built by Northrop/McDonnell Douglas for the USAF, the YF-23 Black Widow and YF-23 Grey Ghost (prototypes) which according to many folks were equal to or perhaps a superior aircraft, but what do I know? I have seen the F-117A Nighthawk as close as a civilian can get to one at an air show years ago and it is a formidable aircraft. I have many friends in Aviation and must say Air Force pilots and personnel are a special unique breed having a comaraderie that is unparalled. My Mother was a WAC in the RCAF during WWII. I had the honor of witnessing Chuck Yeager' last military flight some years ago as he opened the Edwards Air Force Base annual air show. General Yeager was the man who first broke the sound barrier in a Bell X-1 at Mach I and his last military flight was in an F-16 Fighting Falcon breaking the sound barrier, quite an impressive show opener, indeed!

Nothing like the B2!!!

I like the J-20

Of course, all of these aircraft will be continually updated to incoporate ever improving technology to extend their lives and keep them viable in the years ahead.

So impressive with the power and maneuverability are the awesome stealth fighter aircraft. I dropped by this morning to have a look at the various stealth aircraft appear in the sky flying. On Saturday morning, June 19, 2021, around 7am, I was standing out in my driveway and heard an aircraft approaching from the East going West right overhead. I stood and watched it ... it didn't sound like this aircraft ... it looked dark, probably not dark gray, but more black, was triangular in shape with there being two structures out the back area. I thought F-117 Nighthawk but then wondered could it have been an F-22 Raptor? The triangular area back piece appeared straight across. I didn't see a projecting front part of the aircraft like I see in the F-22. I am in Leesburg, Florida where we have a lot of aircraft overhead every day. Still wondering ... what the heck did I see? Surely not a triangular, dark UFO?

Yes it is very impressive however has a larger crossection than some planes but considering it’s 52 meter wingspan is incredible and it can carry a very large payload one of my favourite aircraft

spares? I worked on the thrust vectoring section back in 1991 'til 1/15/92 when funding got cut 'til LM got issues straightened out. You have any right angles on your parts? I recall every cross section view being like 87 degrees, 32' 47" . It was crazy, compound sine plates on top of rotary tables. CNC has come a long way.

I worked on bits and pieces of it in x phase, when we weren't sure if the 22 or 23 was going to get the nod...1991, thrust vectoring section. No right angles, makes machining and inspection a challenge.

Why did you guys fly the stealth fighter above my head the other day? This is not the first time! The sound was fairly audible and people next to me thought that heaven's were openings up and started praying! Had I said it was a fighter jet, they would have either called me a lunatic or would have lynched me saying I questioned god! Being a free thinker is such a task in my place, and this is my life every day.

there is a lot of questions about the russian and chinese planes. India puled out of the 57 deal because they did not believe it was stealthy and the chinese plans have been spotted by India's 4th gen plans with 30 year old radar. Several people i know in the armed forces say the US has radars that can see every airplane and or missile. they also use this radar to track everything in orbit down to the size of a walnut.

that is not really correct. the US radar is very good, but not able to find every stealth technology. for that a german warship of Sachsen-Class is escorting US carriers from time to time. theses german ships are made to clear the sky and able to find every today excisting stealthtech.

The list should be like this F22 J20 F35 Su 57 FC 31 Thats according to their RCS (Radar cross section) - AESA radar - LPIR (Low probability of Intercept radar) Fighter bomber B2 still has 80s and 90 avionics it can't be stealtheir than today's 5th Gen and the nighthawk is retired, it was shot down by Sam buk missile its like 1st Gen stealth.

As far as the 91 Aurora goes It's probably still being made or there done and not telling anyone about and we would be smart to keep it a secret if thats what there doing it's a spy plane and I'm pretty sure it's hard to spy if they know what to look for

@@foodcultureadventure In regards to BVR the F-22 has a huge advantage. It's APG-77v1 frontal AESA has 404 more radiating elements, and its RCS is ~1,000 times smaller than the Su-57's.

the b1b is not at all a stealth plane and those ram coatings only lower the rcs to that of a fighter to confuse enemies as intended
