Lois is strong willed...the way she self assured, not running back to Oliver and staying at work to drown her thoughts...I think that's what Clark realized here...not a girl to whine all day ...
That touch on her shoulder is in my opinion why she didn't go back with Oliver. She felt something and I think it shocked her

Yeah, Chloe is a great character, but she a sometimes gets in the way of Clois IMHO!

I love Chloe, too, but I agree 💯!
People get annoyed with Chloe but she’s my favorite character. IMO she loved Clark the most. It’s hard loving someone and not having that love reciprocated. Chloe poured out her feelings to him and the name he called out was “Lana.” Chloe’s love for him never stopped. Clark at times took advantage of her friendship. It wasn’t always easy for Chloe to keep his secret. But she did. She went thru hell with Clark and I feel like seasons 9 and 10 especially Chloe Sullivan wasn’t Chloe Sullivan anymore. Yes she found love with Oliver but her true love will always be Clark. Sad 😞 how Clark never really allowed himself to see it. 🙏
