7S Display Swapped To An Axys Chassis!

We installed the 7S display into Erika's hood for her current 850 turbo build! The mounting bracket was acquired from Indy Specialty, making the swap a seamless and straightforward plug-and-play process. To ensure functionality without the vehicle running, we also plan on using a lightweight battery setup from CV Customs. Overall, it's a fantastic enhancement to the setup!

Right! Kinda crazy! Indy Specialties supplies directions & the correct parts to install. Basically a plug and play. Total game changer to use the 7s in the mountains especially when riding with other people that have the same gauge.
Very cool! Now what I REALLY want to see is some clever person retrofit a 7S onto a G5.

How did you mount Indy Specialties 3d printed mount to the AXYS hood?

There is 4 screws that were provided by Indy specialties & we reused the old rubber mount from the pidd gauge. The video shows quite a bit of how it’s done.

@SnowmaxPerformance yes but you didn't show how the bracket is fastened to the AXYS hood. I called Indy Specialties and they said it uses a pinch bracket similar to the PIDD.
I would love to do this to my 2020 assault... where can i get a setup?

I just put this exact display onto my sled, but it seems that it can't locate itself at all. Any tips?

Do you have all the antennas & have you placed the sled outside so it will recalibrate satellites?

@@SnowmaxPerformance so I'm actually going to look into this, my proride, while not the most modern thing, has been my baby and been upgraded so much for fun that this is a good motivation for the next project. The basic matrix console is the same as the proride so maybe there is hope
You didn't relocate pin 13 to pin 16 in the video... or eliminate pin 12
