I really like this unit that you're demonstrating and doing the workshop with I have the original road which is very convenient still but I like this a lot more and I'm going to make a move to get my hands on this. Hello Art Video Productions. I have recently acquired a copy of these 7RYMS iRAY DW-30. I really liked the wireless range test in the corridor of a commercial area. You can perfectly appreciate the range of coverage of wireless microphones, having your own body as the first difficulty. I thought I understood what you say in the video, create 24-bit internal files? In my internal microphone units it creates internal 48 khz files. 16 bit. Thanks for the video

Hey, nice that you got one. I’m going to use this thing a lot for my reviews. I don’t feel like setting up shotgun mics, stands, recorders etc for just KZread. According to the manufacturer, the internal recorder should record 48khz 24bit.

@@ArtVideoProductions Thanks for answering. It doesn't, it doesn't create 24-bit internal files. I contacted 7RYMS internal service and they responded as follows: Hi Antonio, Sorry for the inconvenience and trouble you have caused, when the microphone uses the internal recording function, it uses 16bits recording, and when using RX to receive recording, it uses 24bits recording. Once again, we sincerely apologize for our incorrect statement, and we will make changes to the description to avoid similar misunderstandings from happening again. Audio on the recorder is pretty much equally as good as the 7RYMS. But the VIRSO is larger, therefore the battery last longer, but it’s also bigger. The VIRSO, the power button also acts as a mute button, so easy to accidentally mute. With that said I prefer the 7RYMS.

@@ArtVideoProductions I must admit that mute button issue had me concerned. Have been waiting on the release but I guess I might just go with the dw30. Awesome reviews by the way, keep up the great work 👌 thank you for your response!

i just wanted to know, is it possible that there's an even more budget friendly option that has built in recording and storage? i know this one is already more budget friendly than DJI but just was curious so i could recommend to people that want to record gameplay on iphone but that want to include commentary as well, i found it works great with DJI cause of the internal storage in each receiver. but i wanted to recommend something more budget friendly, so far this has been the less pricey option than both DJi and Rode, but if there's any more budget friendly could you give me some recommendations please? By the way awesome review!

In my opinion, this unit here, including price that’s it. This unit will be my default mics to record my reviews. It just works. I don’t wanna try anything else, I’m good

How could i word it in my video, like so the people don't get turned off if they think it's too pricey? would just really want mobile gaming content creators to see they can conveniently make high quality content on their phone

Great video. Quick question: I have the same model, but I see your gain goes from -12 to +12, but mine only goes from -6 to +12. Am I doing anything wrong. It also seems a bit quiet when listening to the audio. Any tips? I don't have much audio knowledge.

@@brandonshealy maybe you didn’t press the button firm enough? Try again. Should go to -12. To get louder audio, increase the gain UP. Try 0, it still too low, keep bumping that gain. Absolutely adjust the input mic gain on your camera. Make sure you set the camera audio to MANUAL, not AUTO.

@@ArtVideoProductions Thank you. I appreciate the feedback. Yeah I tried many different ways, but it still goes only +6 and -6. I took a look at the manual and it says that that's the limit. I do have the same iRay DW30. Maybe they changed that limit? It's weird. I tried to reach out to customer support, but no response.

@@brandonshealy maybe they changed the firmware. -6 is no big deal but… wait a few days for them to see, if no reply in the email , I’d go to their Facebook and messenger and send messages relentlessly on both until they respond.

I've seen other videos, it seems that when you turn around, the receiver can't record the sound, but when you record the video in the mall, the moment you turn around, you can still record normally, I want to know, the body turns around Will it be impossible to record the sound? The only time it happens is when I was far away. Other than that no issues. Also, don’t forget that these units RECORD. That alone you should not worry at all. The recording feature is what made me accept to review this product. I particularly love this unit.
