787HP in a $40K electric Toyota Camry rival? OH YES

Ойын-сауық

IM recently invited us to try the IM L6 in Shanghai - but not the humdrum standard one - the insane 787HP one...

  • @tren133

Why would EU tariffs affect MG's growth in the UK, Oceania, SE Asia, Latin America and many many other markets? As for the EU market itself, the Germans are already making noise to keep the tariffs from going too high lest it sparks a trade war with China, where German Auto is heavily invested in.

Thanks for the video Elliot. For the issue of adjusting the wing mirrors, did you try voice activation to help find it in the menu? I agree with you that this car exhibits many signs of a non-legacy automaker in not knowing what drivers want; "numbing the driving experience" as you so nicely put it but at the same time providing a glimpse of what's to come. Hope this channel grows.

Tariffs in certain or majority of European countries will keep most new china dragon spawned cars at lower sale levels . While the European makers will be trying to offer their product with tempting offers , either interest rate , extras , extended warranty ect ect. Mad mad hp and ladies will be impressed with steering wheel as it looks very similar to a small hand bag lol

Really good info from the videos you make. Really informative. I think if you put Wider&Larger diameter Tyres/Tires it would look awesome( and yes I do know someone is going to point out…efficiency rating will fall due to rolling resistance). The excess space, could also be for the braking feature…as the back of the vehicle may drop first when the brakes are applied. The color of the car would also help with the look. In terms of the manufacturer trying to fit into a segment….for us standard consumers…this car has a lot that we want, without the eye-watering, sky high prices. My only concern with all the screens(regardless of manufacturer)…is the cost to replace/fix. Or even get a replacement in years to come. One thing that should ALWAYS be a physical button…the Hazard/Emergency Button. With all the tech…since these are basically computers in a “moving case” with a truck as the PSU is a different form factor🤣🤣🤣….they should allow you to change the language settings. AND… Allow you to move information around and “lock it in place”(think of your smart phone…moving a widget)…so you can manually configure your settings/layout…password protect it, so no one can change your preferences…but they are allowed to copy your layout and make their own changes. So they don’t have to go through the entire setup process. This would also aid with the “Physical Buttons” issue, to a degree….as we can lock our most used buttons to the base or side of the screen(think MS Windows/Linux(with GUI)/Mac OS) task bar…without the auto hide function enabled. I like the fact that the ceiling in the back seat had enough height(a “Jack test” is always good to have😂😂😂😂). As for the feedback for the steering…they can always do an Over-The-Air Update. And please….change the sound that the editors use, when they move from one segment to the other…the first time I heard it, I thought you got into an Accident(sounds like a mini bumper hit or door slam).

No wonder the west want to raise import duty on cars from china as they can't compete for the same money, if this was an Audi it would cost close to 100k. Off course if every company involved in the manufacturing process paid their workers around £4ph in the west and the land to build the factories and tariffs and taxes the government charges was similar to china then things would be different. (I just threw in that figure but you get the point). Amazing car and also the Hyundai Ioniq 5N.

I have no idea based on the video I just watched, and I'm genuinely confused. It's like you wrote an essay, and then in the summary you wrote about a different car entirely. What do you actually like about this car?

Standard tactic to brag endlessly about affordable Chinese evs. Without mentioning average ft Chinese salaries or export pricing! 😀 Example tesla China worker makes 13-15k and that's about 20% more than the industry standard over there. Cheapest mic tesla? Is the 32k model 3 sr. Shanghai per capita is as expensive as ny to live in. So something like a basic tiny little city car sub compact ev for 8-10k which is a stretch for a tesla Chinese worker. Here in America an average tesla line worker makes 53-55k and the m3 base is 38k or less in inventory, without any tax credits or ev incentives! Hmm I know which one I'd choose as affordable&it ain't China! 😎
