That Hillbilly Jim model is one of the most cursed character models I have seen in any game, ever.

The fact that Jimmy wang yang has been there since 2003 and was only showcased in one game is wild

Sad thing about some of these guys (Aries, Tyson, Terminator etc) is you can't even get them anymore due to the dlc being discontinued

Imagine being in WWE for 3 Generations but you were only featured once in the game. I'm looking at Joey Mercury. The guy has been part of MNM then with Straightedge Society then as part of J&J Security.

I'm honestly surprised Maven, Jamie Noble, Corey Graves, and Vickie Guerrero didn't appear in more games considering how long they were with WWE. Noble not being in SvR '08 was always weird to me since they got Chuck Palumbo in and they were in a rivalry.

I agree with Vickie, she was around long enough to be in more…the others were only involved in in-ring stuff for a short period of time or in-between games so weren’t able to get included

Joey Mercury in only one game is pretty wild. Maven was cut and found in an old build of SvR2006, alongside Luther Reigns. Noble I think was cut early on in HCTP with a few others. I go back to a lot of these games, just to use these one-time wrestlers. Especially A Double.

Maven was actually also found in an old build of Day of Reckoning 2.

They get all these unique like Mikey Whipwreck and Savio Vega for the Austin showcase and nowadays you're lucky to get one guy who isn't already part of the game.

It even extended to the DLC showcase in 2K16, since we ended up getting other interesting one-time-only inclusions like Stevie Ray and non-Goldust Dustin Rhodes.

The good thing is, Raw 2's rendition of him looked pretty spectacular for the time. The game played like ass, but it was hella pretty. And heck, actually.. it didn't exactly "play like ass"... it's just that the game's AI was braindead. If you had two human players working out a match, you could make it look really good.

I think 2018 was my favorite roster. The Cruiserweights were added in and Rich Swann was one of my favorites to paly

Damn, didn't know that Ultimo Dragon was playable ONLY ONCE but it makes sense he only signed with Wwe just to fight at MSG and on the other side he was pretty neat to play as

Yeah most likely. I do a new version of the list each year so thats just as it currently stands. But for sure I would expect that to change next time.

@@TheyCallMeTHE101 technically Aliyah's in more than 1 WWE Game she's in WWE Universe as well as WWE Supercard also I don't know about you but I consider WWE Supercard is more of a WWE Game despite it being on a mobile device more than WWE Universe but she's only playable in 2k23 also she was originally supposed to be included in The Clowning Around Pack in 2k22 last year but she was replaced by Ronda Rousey also Kayden Carter was supposed to be in 2k22 in The Whole Dam Show pack alongside Zelina Vega but they were cut as well from the game.

Definitely think Kaitlyn should have been in more games. Like WWE 12 and 2K15 for example.

Let's be completely honest we saw more then 20 wrestlers & out of all of them the one person who has the best chance to be in WWE2k24 is Tegan Nox since she's been back with WWE since late last year

Vickie Guerrero with those Dead or Alive game physics

fun fact kamala was also a playable character in the game WWF Rage In The Cage. so he was actually playable in 2 wwe games

Maven being in wwe from 01 to 05 makes me shocked he was only 1 game. Especially given he was pretty decent. Never top card but not bad by any stretch

They "misused" her mainly because she had a hard time getting accustomed to a new country and being away from Japan. You can't push a talent to the top if she's not able to be comfortable to her new job.

Anybody saying they "misused" her are clearly clueless as to what actually happened, sadly no everyone is able to leave their entire life/family behind for another country and be successful at it, she went back to Japan as soon as possible and hopefully she's happy now.

There's a lot of surprising names here given how long some of them were actually with the company. A different oddball for me is names like Bob Orton, who could be playable in any game they'd like since he's a retired Hall of Famer. Or Corey Graves who is literally still at WWE and has been for years in a commentary role. And Top Dolla, who had been wrestling for a couple years before finally being added as DLC in 2k23... the same year he'd be released from roster. Which, I guess he'd be used to after his NFL career. His wiki page gave me whiplash the amount of times he'd sign, be released, signed to a practice squad, and waived all in one month, multiple times in his "career".

The big issue with Top Dolla was timing. There was no 2K21, 2K22 had Swerve on the base game roster but it was the pre-Hit Row version (meaning it was too late for the rest of Hit Row anyway), then Hit Row all got fired long before 2K22 even came out. And they were only rehired after DLC had finished for 2K22.

I’m shocked David Hart Smith was only in one game, feels like he should have been in more!

Hillbilly Jim was in two games, he was also in Legends of WrestleMania for iPhone as an exclusive character. Virgil was also in Supercard.

Demolition Smash was also in WrestleFest in the early 90s. The Warlord is another one-time only appearance, he was in the WrestleMania game for home computers in the early 90s and AFAIK has not appeared in any other games.

You're misremembering. There was a few wrestlers (Dude Love, Mean Street Posse, Gangrel, Mideon, and the Headbangers) who had their faces, outfits, and a select screen image available in CAW mode, but they weren't part of the actual roster. You had to make CAWs of them.

Unless Tegan Nox gets fired very soon, she's probably not going to be a one-shot inclusion. I'd be surprised if she's not in 2K24.

Technically speaking Corey Graves is featured more than 1 time, just not as a wrestler which was not noted in this video

Maven was originally supoosed to be in SVR 06 but was released during development. Which is ironicnbecause you had guys like Spike Dudley and Mark Jindrak in the game despite the fact that he was also released. Luther Reigns, and Kenzo Suzuki, was also supposed to be there too.

I feels so weird looking at this list. For some reason, I feel like I used Kenzo Sazuki in an SVR game; must have been a CAW. Looking at a lot of these people, it feels like they should have been in more games. But back then, I'm assuming it was based off of who was getting TV time. Now they try to get as many in the game as possible.

That doesn't count, you had to add the roster to the game for him to be in it. He wasn't part of the base roster, therefore it doesn't count as 2 games.

Maven and Noble are particularly shocking to me, given that the years they were most popular in WWE, they were releasing separate games for each of the major consoles (PS, Xbox, Gamecube). How Jamie Noble, for example, made it to Raw 2 but somehow missed HCTP and Wrestlemania XIX (which were released just days/weeks apart from it) is baffling to me.

This video is specifically for WWE games, not wrestling games in general. Legends of Wrestling is not a WWE game. I believe Kamala was in at least one other one (one of the SNES or Genesis ones), but Bob Orton and Sabu were only in one each. Steele was, too, until 2K24.

I’m sure some of these have been in more than one game
