I just got one of the new RS3s with the 2.5 five cylinder turbo. It’s an impressive engine. It’s actually a tad quicker than my previous car which was an M2 with a 6 cylinder twin turbo. Plus there’s just something cool about a 5 cylinder

25 years later, the 100 is still a gorgeous car. I would be proud to have one.

Only stick shift should be allowed in these competitions. All automatic driver should go to real drag race, where everyone is driving with an automatic gear box. But the little boys in their Nissan and Benz... will be blown away by the real 8000 BHP drag race monsters😂😂😂

the skill comes in where at matters disicions regarding the cars position and most optimal wayt to win a race, instead of seeing whos mechanical speed is faster and more experienced, why give yourself a human associated burden of having to do something fast, and precise and seeing who can make that burden as light as possible. instead of removing that burden and seeing wh can make the best decisions on the track about their speed and positioning and what lines they take

Definitely better looking than the A6 it evolved into. The black bumper wrap around just looked so much better than the body coloured ones on the Mk.1 A6. I had a 100 2.3E. I like to be different, so after Audi's got too popular, I now drive a Subaru Legacy with manual low range gearbox. That will beat anything off the line.

This is a gorgeous car, but I do like the RS7, TTRS, and RS3 much better. The A4 thru A6 line don’t do much for me.

Just love this and I'm not an Audi person, but up the BHP in the Audi and she would be almost unbeatable! Fantastic video, thanks so much for this....

Love the Look of 100 C4 and A6 C4 it's just timeless my father had an 100 C4 2.3E in white with dark blue interior

I bought a new Audi 200 Quattro in 1989 also with pearl paint and 5-speed manual. I did a "stage 1" turbo boost that added another 60 horsepower, and very much enjoyed that car for the next 10 years.

@@Bawell1000 на видео видно как из за мягкой подвески перед поднимается, тачка теряет сцепления и колебания снижают мощность машины, если поставить жёсткую подвеску то передняя часть не будет подниматься, тачка быстро и плавно сдвинется с места не теряя сцепления с дорогой и будет намного быстрее развивать скорость

The Audi is real stylish, take care for it. I was shaked by laughing like the Audi was shaked switching gears.

Here in the states they call it an s4 or c4 s4/urs4. I used to have a really nice 1993 Audi S4 that had some very simple mods and could easily destroy many cars from the modern era with the right build these cars can beat anything even a GTR or a Tesla

A really beautiful and fast Audi 100. I´ve always loved this car...

that's how tough is Grandmothers old Audi.. it will beat you with pure raw strength.. thanks uploader :)

It does have a bigger engine than any of them, and at least has the advantage of AWD. Frankly I am none too suprised that what is for all intents and porpouses a group B racecar does well on a dragstrip.

Mzwandile Harmans Why would you think there something else in there than an Audi engine? You may want to read up on Audi‘s IMSA GTO car from 1989, which used the same base engine. They came in second in the championship... because they didn‘t even participate in two of the races. They said the IMSA GTO has 720PS, but that‘s only where they stopped measuring.
