Almost 600 hours of tractor time over two years and you have a full time job, are a full time husband and dad, and a KZread publisher. Very, very impressive. I don’t see how you do it. Because of you, I own a land planer and a 27 ton log splitter. Because of you, I buck trees better and cut logs into rounds better. Because of you, I manage my 75 acres of woods better. That is less than one hour a day of operation spread over two years. Since the channel is so tractor and outdoor focused I am surprised it is not more.

Kerry Here! You channel is one of my first to subscribe to a couple of years ago. I have operated tractors, starting at 14yo and have been on an off through the years and I’m 57 but never owned my own. Very impressed with the RK’s after seeing them on here. Never heard of RK until them. You showed us how to work a grapple use a front loader and the land plane that I had never seen. I have 4 acres here in Louisiana and lots of trees. Well , after watching you, I knew I wanted a tractor! Your videos got my wheels turning and I saw all the possibilities of things I never thought of needing. Last month I purchased a Kioti CK4010 with a front end loader, yes a grapple and land plane. I have taken down mostly rotten and nuisance trees that is killing my big trees. Yesterday I took down a oak that was being eaten up by black ants. About 20 trees so far. Thanks for all the information and being able to learn so much in your videos. Mike, I must admit, with every situation that comes up, my respect for you as a man and business man continues to grow. The fact that you will not promote something you do not believe in is what I admire the most. Here in the outdoor industry the "pro-staff / sponsor" thing has run its course and done a lot of damage to how the industry works. Social influencing is the wave of the future over tradition buying cycle of consumers. People like you are the front line sales people to a brand. Even from the beginning, you did your best to incorporate the product in your lifestyle. You were honest with performance, specs, and ability of these tractors. You never drank the cool aid. If you would have, people would have seen through it. I own a Kubota and a John Deere piece of equipment and I have honestly explored RK Tractors because of your honesty in them. I think you have done a great service to their business and were compensated for your work over the last two years. Fresh content is always key. I think you are on the right track for sure. I hope if you get another equipment deal in the future, it is one that is also rewarding and compensates you to the level you have grown. I have been binge watching the old ones, you are putting so much more time, editing efforts, and content into these videos than you were at the time of this deal. As someone who grew up as a farm boy in southern Saskatchewan, Canada, I appreciate the content you provide. The family no longer farms and we’ve been city dwellers for many years and your videos give me a chance to see the things I used to like doing the most; working with equipment and seeing progress and accomplishments after a hard days work. It is refreshing to see a channel that doesn’t design their videos around youtube, but instead just uploads their regular daily activities. Keep it up and good call on changing up the equipment agreement. Hopefully you plans come through and we can see another brand of equipment for you to try and review.

Hey Mike, I thought it would be nice for me to fill you in on something... about a year ago I commented to you asking a few questions about the tractors. I was shopping for my first "personal" tractor to use on our goat rescue. My issue was my income, which is disability alone. I needed a dependable but strong tractor with a smaller footprint...but one that I could afford. You and I spoke briefly via comments, but your input and advice guided me in the direction I was needing to be. To sum it up, I recently purchased a Mahindra 1626...and I absolutely love it! Due to your honest and straightforward approach, I personally would consider RK now. Your close up, task-oriented videos show really interesting things about RK's products. I remember the tilt adjustment on the three point hitch leveling screw and how you can lock it in place after getting the position needed without using a locknut. The adjusting screw had two handles which made it easy to work even with gloves on! You get the important details across to us and it's appreciated more than you know. I look forward to your next choice of equipment and thank you for your hard work in getting us this great content!

You said a mouth full, "I didn't know I needed or wanted a cab tractor till I bought one" EXACTLY. It took my wife's near death experience in January of 2019 that made me go look for a mid size cab tractor that could run a round baler and had heat and AC and got the sun off of us in the hot summer here in NE Ohio when hay needs made. So we found a used McCormick F-85 4x4, with a Q-25 loader in it. And we also never knew how much a cab tractor would change our lives. I went from owning 3 older Ford tractors (2, 3000's and 1, 2000) To now just the Ford 2000, And it's for sale now. Definitely enjoy your content. And you are 100% correct, this You Tube is a business. And with the amount of subs you have, you have to do what you feel is right for that business. 🍻🇺🇸

I wonder if RK is going to sell this equipment. I’ll buy the RK37, I close on my 17 acres today and I need to buy a tractor for the property. Mike you have shown me a lot of great information, not on just using the equipment but also little projects that I’m going to follow your instructions. As a longtime subscriber. I will admit that I’m sad to see the RK tractor relationship come to an end. Knowing how critical these tractors and attachments have contributed to the great success of your channel, you can’t winch trees out the woods or load huge logs on the sawmill with the Polaris Ranger... so I’m eager to see what equipment shows up on the channel. Lots of commenters think you’ve struck a deal with Bobcat...time will tell if they’re right. Thanks again for all you and Melissa do on the channel. We love you guys!!

Very well done Mike. Great information. While going through my recovery and rehabilitation, there were several You Tube Channels I watched, and still do. My only wish is that i could become a supporter to most. If you find good people on here it can be very educational. You Tube has given me a direction to follow now that my driving career is over. I am currently in my garage cleaning, organizing, and building projects. All on both, well one real leg. All of the channels I watch I have learned something from other sectors of life. RK Tractors look like a good product. If they had a yard tractor compatible to my Husqvarna TTH2454 I might be interested.

If I needed to buy another compact tractor and had a Rural King local, I would buy an RK. No question about it. You've done an excellent job reviewing them. When I first saw the episode when you got the RK55, I thought "Wow, it must be nice to get free stuff." But I understand the hard work that goes into running the channel. And the free stuff only comes with lots of work and talent. They got exposure and you got to play with some really nice toys. I've enjoyed watching and looking forward to what's coming next.

Since this is an episode of reflection and thanks, I need to thank you for showing me what a tractor and attachments can do. My New Holland TC35DA with an EA grapple allows me to continue cutting firewood and cleaning up the property as my aging body increasingly protests doing it the way I have for decades - by hand. It's been a real back saver. Thank you.

Our Mahindra 2540 shuttle shift is virtually the same tractor as the RK-37 with the main difference being the engine. Mine has the 40hp 4-cylinder non-DPF Mahindra engine and the RK-37 has the 37hp 3-cylinder Yanmar engine. These tractors are made by TYM in South Korea and are heavy and great quality. I looked at a Deere and Kubota prior to buying the Mahindra and they just didn't have the same weight or capacities and I noticed some corner cutting in quality, especially on the Deere. Our machine has been troublefree and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. I really enjoy your channel Mike and I'll be your videos showcasing RK products has resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales that they otherwise would not have. It's great to have a guy like you doing what you do and sharing with everyone.

Mike, you and I are wired very much alike. Heck, my wifes name is Melisa also! Found your channel when researching kubota, which I still have mine. I've enjoyed following watching your content ever since. My wife asks me, "why do you like watching that channel, you've always done that stuff on your own." I have been studying for my Busines degree for a couple years now, in my opinion your decisions are good ones. I think it's cool how you benafited the tractor company in branding, as well as, cool how you benafited from the use of the machines. I look forward to learning what you do from here! I respect whatever decision you make, as this is your secondary job. Weather you take more focus on saw milling, clearing wooded land properly, or even installing equipment in order to one day get off of the power and water grid, whatever has your interest will be very interesting. You are a very good and well spoken family friendly channel, down to earth with reality, yet don't seem to be overplaying your channel in order to gain more profits as a fly by.night channel. Keep it real, and again, a lot of people like me have enjoyed viewing this channel!

Mike, my boyfriend found your channel while researching tractors in the fall of 2019. He asked me to watch a few of your videos and I got hooked! Mike, great feedback on the RK line. I would love for you to look into partnership with Bobcat’s new line. I am really interested in bringing the tractor industry back to Made in America. Even though these are S. Korean made they eventually will own the rights and production. I have narrowed my search for compacts down to Kioti vs. Bobcat. The performance specs for a 25hp are best in the line up from what I read but have not been field tested. I have 8 acres in the Pacific NW on the river and looking forward to retirement one day from the Army. Keep up the great videos! Hi Mike, I’ve enjoyed the RK’s but I love my Kubota L3301. You made my mind up when I first joined your channel back about 3 years ago. You had the L3901. Same tractor but about 4 horsepower more. What ever you get I will follow you till the end....Thanks for sharing.

I am a follower of your videos for quite a while now, and what brought me on your channel was those RK Tractors. I am in the province of Quebec in Canada, and I had never heard of RK Tractors before. I enjoyed all your tractor videos. After 2 years of reviewing these tractors, I can understand your decision to go a different way and propose new contents for your fans. Attention span is short on KZread so you always have to renew yourself or your contents. I think it was a hard decision, but a good decision. Congratulations, on a good run. I enjoy channels that are unbiased. I'm sure it would be difficult to be unbiased when they give you so much stuff. This way I think you can improve your channel for the long term. I think what would be an interesting topic, would be to do measurements on drying wood based on different conditions, such as being in a tote, stack not stacked, being inside a building.

ive got 25 hp Kioti with belly mower for my 4 acres fine but looks like 35+ hp tractors best all around manover /lift capasity ect

You have really inspired me as a small tractor (37hp New Holland) owner to find ways to make it work for me that I hadn't thought about prior to buying it. I appreciate seeing someone that I feel I could relate to, doing things that I can now say, "I can do that"! It's always good to see someone else's perspective on using their tractor to its potential. In the last 3 years since I've owned mine, I've barely amassed 225 hours, but I'm getting there with some side-jobs. Thanks again for the encouraging vids.

There is no way Mike would leave himself exposed with no deal for tractors so he has a new deal sorted out which just needs inking. Good luck with it.

Hey Mike, Good luck on your new path and keep up the great work! I found your channel some years ago, while doing research on buying my first tractor. Based on your experience, as well as others like GP Outdoors, Messick’s and Tractor time with Tim, I ended up with a Kubota L3901. I was kind of limited on tractor selection as Kubota and John Deere are the only tractor dealers in my area, so service was a big consideration in keeping my choice between one of those two. I am very happy with my Kubota and it does everything I need of it. Thanks again for the great channel you provide:)!

Love your channel, keep the great content coming. I have a MF 1739 tractor and loader first year I had the tractor it was acting funny when I would go up a hill next to our property it would act like I was shutting off the fuel. I have never had a tractor act this way before so started looking into fuel filters to change I ended up finding a small rock about 1/4" diameter in the fuel filter, this boggled my mind how this Rick got into the fuel filter. That was just one small problem that I found with my tractor. Keep the great videos coming can't wait to see what comes next.

How's she goin'? I admire your philosophy!!! The deal from RK was sweet. You recognized that and accepted it for what it was. You gave honest reviews and really did work the tractors. RK should be satisfied with the exposure you gave their tractors. The direction you have decided on as you go forward and continue to grow your channel is admirable. I'd say RK made a good decision to select you, your family and your channel to showcase their tractors and attachments. Congrats on staying true!!! Take care!!!

As far as the 3 RK tractors, it helped me decide what size of tractor I needed vs what size I wanted. I bought a Kubota L3901, I was thinking about getting a tractor 2 sizes bigger, but I really didn't need one that big. I am so pleased with the L3901. As far as the Woodmiser, I was thinking I wanted the LT-15. Now that I have the Kubota, I think the LX150 would be the better choice. Your partnerships have benefited me, and I'm sure others too.

Thanks to your series on the RK tractors, I just bought one - not one you have, but close. The RK-21 which is a step up fromt he 19 and a bit less than the RK-24. I chose the RK-21 because it's a bit beefier than the 19, and I don't need a backhoe so, no RK-24. I got mine with the front loader, 54" deck and a 4' box blade. The loader is great, and I'm getting better with the box blade leveling areas in my yard that used to be blue berry bushes; mostly overrun with jagger bushes. The loader pushed them out of the way, and the box blade dug up the roots that were removed with the loader. I'm 71 and this machine has given me the means to get a lot more work done than I could've done otherwise. My next project is to dig out a dirt floor in my 20x12 addition to my barn and load in some # 2 gravel and in a year or two, concrete it like the barn that it's attached to. THANKS for a GREAT series!

Mike, thanks to you and RK for showing us the tractors. After all the different attachments that came along with it, I wasn't sure what was yours and what they gave you to show. It definitely did show me the versatility of having the quick attach on the loader and a few accessories I would like to have with my next tractor purchase. Will the skidder winch fit on the bota or is it too big for that tractor? It will be nice to see orange again after the superb job you did of hiding it for 2 years. Thank you RK tractors for allowing so many people to see equipment they otherwise would not have ever seen in use.

Graceful end to a partnership, well played Mike.

Found your channel soon after you started working the RK tractors, and thought it rather strange that you would need three different sizes of tractors, as the RK37 could do everything that the RK 24 did, but with more authority. The RK 37 needs a set of turf tires and a cab, and it would work for me. (as long as the doors are easily removed) I was hoping to see you offer your perspective on the home/land owner performing your own servicing of the tractor. (oil and filter changes, hydraulic fluids and filters as well as belts and hoses) Most folks I know, only have the dealer work on the equipment when warranty requires a service interval or it breaks while still under warranty. Service is a business, but unless I can't physically do the repair myself, my equipment won't be seeing the dealer. For you to be able to get close to 600 hours on these three tractors, break down free is a testament to their durability. Having an interlock switch come unplugged can be frustrating, but not a big deal, as you found the problem without a lot of head scratching. To me, the main selling feature of the RK tractor is the Yanmar diesel engine. Yes, they sound like a bucket of bolts running, but they are reliable. I'm not locked into purchasing parts from the dealer network. Another commentator brought up resale value. I don't purchase any vehicle for it's resale value, as I run equipment until it rusts away. Anyhow, keep providing content, not everyone will agree on how you run your channel, but it's YOUR channel and they're free to watch or ignore all they want.

Thanks Mike for all the tractor training the past two years. I bought a Kubota Grand L4060 because of your channel and purchasing an 8 acre vineyard/farm. I have seen maybe 50 of your video's and find myself going back occassionally and watching one of the older vid's. If I have learned nothing else, I have learned Melissa has been a great mother in molding her children's personalities. Mike has been instrumental as well and both parents continue to be great role models but as I see the easy going, quick and easy smile temperament. Words and attitudes were selected carefully in interacting with all your kids. I am so envious of your family dynamic

Wow I haven't been a subscriber for long so didn't know the tractors weren't yours or about the deal RK deal. Can't wait to see whats next for your tractor deal. I like what you said.i like to watch real people doing real things. I'm not into Hollywood and actors.im a realist and love watching real life experiences . I also watch MY SELF RELIENCE. Another KZread channel about a guy and now his wife building there own life out on 20 acres in the wilderness of Canada. Love watching him build his log cabin and other cabins on his property. And that's what's brought me to your channel as well.watching you build your future on your property and wishing I had done what your both doing .to late for me now.im 59 but more like 79 with my body wore out from real hard work for over 40 yrs. .. I wish I could go back and do what I didnt do now. But as we all no we only get one shot at this gift called life. So I will live the rest of my life through you and Melissa and the couple in Canada. I remember early on when you took heat in the comments for “going commercial” and people predicting it would be the demise of your channel. It safe to say they were WRONG! I admire your decision to move on to uncharted territory when you could have extended the deal. Really looking forward to seeing what tractor or tractors you end up with next! I have to say, i'm one of those people that was introduced to the RK tractors on your channel and did in fact purchase an RK37 here in Ohio. Mostly because of all the videos and research coming from your channel. I've had it for almost a year now and it's been great. I use it for all kinds of projects and it seems like the attachments just keep accumulating.

Mike, I just wanted to let you know that your videos on the RK tractors helped me decide on what I really needed when I was looking to purchase a new tractor. I purchased a TYM 394 w/ loader and grapple, which is basically the same as the RK 37. Thanks for the informative videos!

I guess its kind of nice to be able to run some machines like you did for a long term "Test". You learned a lot about each of those tractors and the limitations each of them have. Honestly wouldn't mind watching reviews like that from you. You do a great non-biased review on a lot of stuff, and this was no exception. You didn't put down Kubota in your other RK video with the RK24 that many compare to...you just showed what your RK24 would do and went through the numbers...that's 100% what people really need to see. The paper says one thing, but what do these things do in the real world is what people that are potentially shopping different machines need to know, want to know, and want to see is what they can do in the real world. Course we now know what color tractors you ended up with, but regardless I think like you said a lot of issues come down to operator error. I've done a couple things already with my BX2680 that I shouldn't have LOL. I had bent the loader arms on it moving some stuff, dealer finally came out and got it taken care of through KTAC. I paid $250 and got a replacement loader, as they weren't able to fix what I broke. Stupid newbie things are one of the biggest problems of tractor dealer and service nightmares from what my dealer said. The major failures are far and few between, my dealer sales several different brands, and services all brands so they see pretty much everything and the one thing they mentioned outside of wear and tear is new owners not understanding the equipment and getting into and doing things the equipment wasn't built to do. My little BX2680 is a great machine for what I need on my small property. Sure a B-series would be nice but space limitations really are my draw back, and the size difference between the BX and B-Series isn't much but I only have an acre the BX is plenty. Just needed something larger than my lawn tractor that I could get a loader on, and a few other ground engaging implements/attachments.

Mike and Melissa, I have always been an older tractor guy, but watching your channel, made me a believer in the RK product. My son recently purchased a new "3" series JD and when he was looking, I told him about your channel and the RK's performance. Maybe not because of the RK itself, but your happiness with them. Mike, Seems like a good deal all around. I had never heard of RK tractors before watching your channel. I looked seriously at them prior to buying a Kubota, but there are no RK dealers within several hundred miles of me. Looking forward to whatever comes next. I appreciate the integrity and honesty that you enter and end relationships with your partners.

I think I started watching your channel shortly after you got those. It’s amazing how quickly time goes by. But I get keeping it fresh, so I can’t wait to see what you do. Your honest and sincere take on equipment and projects makes your channel a joy to watch.

As someone else said, I watch your videos on my TV which doesn't have the comment feature. I got on my phone to comment this time because while I personally would've bought either the RK55 or the RK37 if I were you (which I thought you would do) I respect your decision for moving on from the deal. I don't have a tractor or much land (2 acres with a 500' driveway) but I'm looking into getting some in the not too distant future. If we had RK stores up here in Maine I'd definitely look into them. We do have a TYM dealer about an hour or so from me though so that's a thought since they make the RK tractors. Your a stand up guy Mike and I've learned quite a bit from watching your channel. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next. When I watched this video I immediately thought Bobcat is next. You've already done Kubota and since Bobcat has just gotten back into the compact tractor market teaming up with you would give them great exposure. Have a day!

Love your videos, we ordered our first RK24 tractor and expect delivirly in a week. Love you reviews of these tractors and all your videios are giving us lots of ideas for what work we will do once it arrives.

You talk about being a KZreadr is a full time job. My son (Metal Detecting Channel) Is a full-timer. He tells me, and I of course watch his up-loads and live events, that it is very much a full time event "job". You have to be ready and able to take your videos, edit your videos, up-load and comment on them. You and Melissa do a wonderful job of being informative and enlightening. From the outside, it looks to me like you have almost the perfect life. Keep it up and keep the videos coming.

@Renee Tate That doesn't speak well for RK managers. That one doesn't even know where his tractors are made. RK tractors are DEFINITELY made by TYM except for the engine which is made by Yanmar. If you don't believe that Park each side by side and you'll see the ignorance of the RK manager you talked to.

It's going to be weird not seeing RK Tractors on your place. With that said, I completely understand where you are coming from and am excited to see where you go next!

This message was refreshing to hear about your relationship with the equipment company, your candor, summary as you move on saying good-bye. Looking forward to what is in store for months to come. I think you said the attachments were yours. The next piece of equipment will have the adaptability to attach the accessories, making them interchangeable. Mike, you're right that we can't appreciate how much work goes into producing content -- partly because you've gotten so good at it that it looks effortless. You should consider doing one episode, where Melissa chronicles the time you spend framing shots, moving cameras, editing, storyboarding, etc. Sort of "A Day in The Life of A KZread Pro," or whatever. :) Both of you are doing a heck of a fine job keeping us entertained. Great job repping RK with faithful critiques of great tractors. I hope Deere, Case, Massey Ferguson and Kabota compete for your channel's business!

You've certainly been a positive promoter for RK Tractors. And they have certainly treated you well over the past two years. Whereas; each compliments the other. All four of you have made the Morgan property a better place to dwell...

In order to be successful in all aspects of life, you have to be able to embrace change. Being an acreage owner myself, I had to learn how to be self sufficient. Not having people around to help when you need it, requires the purchase of.... or having to rent machines that make the job and life itself much easier and HEALTHIER!!! You have kept your family safe by having the equipment on hand that was needed to do the tough jobs of living on an acreage, and running a side business. Keep up the great work and great videos. Can't waite to see what changes you make and what equipment you bring on board to stay safe and prosperous.

I totally agree with you. People don't understand the hours involved in setting up cameras and editing. Working out a deal with Rural King makes it more worth your effort. Good luck with your next venture.
